About
Joy's training, education and good natured personality affords her clients with an extremely detailed and professional individual to enhance any special event.
While holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, it is in her application of makeup where Joy is able to use her creativity and focus on detail.
Joy has been a part of the beauty industry for more than 16 years and has worked with all skin types and skin tones. She has the innate ability to highlight one's natural beauty no matter the gender or ethnicity. Never wanting to become stagnant in her career, Joy continues to further her artistry education with workshops, classes, hands on training and the like.
She has also worked as a freelance makeup artist for Urban Decay and Hard Candy Cosmetics. She has been formally trained and certified in Airbrush Application by David Klasfeld, CEO and creative director of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.
Whether your style is natural, conservative, dramatic or eccentric, Joy will work with you to achieve the final product that you desire.
Realizing that no one is perfect, Joy will strive for 100% satisfaction, by both the client and the artist, at each appointment. The client's requests are of utmost importance.
