AfriCarib plays steeldrum music with influences from the Caribbean Islands, the U.S. and all the way to Africa.
Our performances range from one solo steel drum to duets, trios, or a full band. Whether you need soothing background music, or something special to rock your party, AfriCarib can deliver!
Depending on your needs, you can start with solo steel drum, and add instruments and vocalists as you choose. We will work with you to help you decide on the exact combination of instruments to perfectly match your requirements.
AfriCarib has been heard at the 2008 U.S. Open Tennis Tournament, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Public Library, the Bronx Zoo, Chelsea Piers, the African Museum in New York City, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and many, many private parties.
