I purchased Adair's book "Live with Intention" and as a result I scheduled a one on one coaching session with her. In an hour or so I was able to change my outlook on many situations. About
Family myth has it that Adair Cates ran before walking a single step, and it must be true. Otherwise there is no accounting for her accumulated knowledge, experience, and power. Adair came into this world with a clear and forceful intention to fully live her life and share her experience to inspire others. Most recently Adair became aware of the often sizeable gap between our reality and our passion. She is off and running again toward her intention of connecting all of us with the motivation and resources we need to "Mind the Gap" between where we are and where we want to be.
Adair’s devotion to the passionate life has resulted in an impressive list of accomplishments: She held teaching positions in several schools from middle school to college where her enthusiasm and communication skills transformed the learning experience. Her love of learning prompted her to start her own business designing and delivering workshops to increase satisfaction in all work environments. To support her mission to inspire others to their best lives, she wrote Live With Intention: Ten Steps to Creating the Life of Your Dreams, a book that prompted Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup For the Soul) to write, “If you’re ready to create something new in your life, this book is for you!”
As if all of that were not enough to do before the age of thirty, Adair went on to share her passion for language as a Product Implementation Trainer and the as a corporate sales professional for Rosetta Stone. Currently Adair is the Leadership Training Manager at Concentra, a healthcare organization. During all of her professional posts, Adair continues to be a sought after speaker at conferences, organizations, businesses, and forums.
Adair's boundless energy is matched only by her insatiable desire to learn which she pursues formally and creatively every day. She already holds a BA in Journalism and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during which she lived and studied abroad. And she holds an MA in Spanish Education from Appalachian State University and is currently finishing a MS in Training and Performance Improvement. She is also a Bob Proctor (The Secret) LifeSuccess Consultant and has trained with many nationally-known motivational teachers.
All of Adair’s success is incidental to her intentionally joyous journey. Each day has time for reading, running, writing, and serving others. She shares her fulfilling life with Chris, her adoring husband; Mozart and Ringo, dogs that makes her laugh out loud; and her cat Wario, one of her most valuable life teachers. They all reside in Atlanta where each morning Adair wakes with a grateful heart for all the support under her joy-full running feet .
