November 23, 2012Amazing For Both Caregivers and Individuals with Dementia!
Nicholas Arnold performed at a Comedy Day (Special Event) at our Adult Day Program for individuals with dementia and brought laughter like none other! He was available on short notice, easy to contact, responded promptly, arrived with plenty of time to set up and did not require assistance with set up.
He interacted well with our members and was very adaptable taking into consideration their abilities, interests and communication skills. He responded extremely well to the audience as he extended portions of his show to which he was receiving much laughter.
Appropriate show for individuals both of higher and lower functioning as he does give individual attention to the audience members throughout the show.
Can't wait for him to come back and make our members laugh so hard it caused all of our office staff to attend as well!
Hired as: Comedian, Comedy Show, Impersonator, Impressionist, Jerry Lewis Impersonator, Mime, Musical Comedy Act, Stand-Up Comedian, Tribute Artist

June 21, 2012Great performer for Retirement and Long Term Care Homes!
We enjoyed having Nicholas Arnold at a special event in our Long Term Care Home last week. He was reliable - confirming the date with me ahead of time and showing up early to become familliar with our facility and set up his equipement (all important to an activity coordinator when trying to plan a month of activities for many residents!)
He engaged, and interacted with the residents - and made us LAUGH! (which we all need to do more of, but especially in LTC)
I noticed he was also sensitive to the needs and responses from some of our special care residents. Our residents could very much relate to this era of comedy - with opportunities to reminisce.
Thank you Nicholas for a great show!

March 21, 2012Blew us away!
We were so impressed by the accurate imitation, first of all. Having listened to and watched Jerry for many years, the visual and audio presentation was so bang on on. Set pieces and ad libs were skillfully woven. Add to that the intricacies of timing - the syncopation of the typewriter bit, and the pauses in delivering punchlines - and this is one very funny show!

March 14, 2012Fantastic
Attended a Knights of Columbus Ladies Night and was amazed by the entertainment provided by Nick Arnold as Jerry Lewis. A very Nostalgic show, brought back many memories. Tears from all the laughter and a standing ovation to boot!

January 5, 2012The Laughter Never Stops...
We have hired this young man for a number (10 or more) of our dinner theatre shows over the last 6 years, the most recent time being this past December. He is wonderfully hysterical - or, perhaps, hysterically wonderful. The audience loved him. He stole the show but the rest of us didn't mind one bit because he is a delight to work with.
His Jerry Lewis is spot on. The mannerisms are Jerry's, the facial expressions are Jerry's, the rubber mouth is Jerry's and that voice is very definitely Jerry's! In comedy, timing is everything and his is perfect. It is impossible not to laugh - loudly and often.
Hired as: Comedian, Jerry Lewis Impersonator

Testimonials
If you're a fan of old school comedy, you need to check out Nicholas Arnold's take on Jerry Lewis. Nick is a Kingston native now living in Toronto. I've had the pleasure of getting to know him after he wound up in one of my hypnosis shows. Since that time, he's developed a performance that is nothing short of superb.

You truly do an amazing job performing classic routines from Jerry Lewis. You can really hear the audience laughing.

To begin, Arnold is a filmmaker. He produced and directed his first film at the age of 15, went to the Vancouver Film School and made a bunch more films, mostly shorts, along the way. He’s active enough to have a page on the Internet Movie Database, the bible of all things film (which includes his teenage creation as a listing). Checking his website, it’s pretty clear he bears a striking resemblance to Lewis. One detail, videotaping a rehearsal, might just be the advantage Arnold has over other kinds of tribute acts that rely on looks or sound to get by.
