This group was formed in January 2000 with a goal of singing (1) week-end a month. That lasted for about (3) months and the rest is history. Traveling and working over 120 dates per year this group has won the hearts of thousands. Their off stage love, and accessibility, both too, and for the folks that come to their concerts is one of the things that people seem to appreciate most. Their desire to provide the finest in quality music while effectively ministering to the lost, and hurting, is truly the objective in each and every concert. The group has enjoyed radio & chart success with songs like: Brand New Heart, In the Morning, Joy's Gonna Come, Crown Him King, Gods Word Will Stand, and Carved in Stone. In 2008 PromisedLand was honored with a Dove Award consideration in the category of Southern Gospel album of the year for their project entitled "Carved in Stone". Most recently the group has appeared on Christian TV via the Daystar Network NRB Network, World Harvest, and Gospel Music Television, making multiple appearances on “Great American Gospel” & “Great American Gospel Onstage”. The group has appeared on the Main Stage of the National Quartet Convention 4 years in a row as well as Dollywood. This group has had successful tour's internationaly in Canada, Portia Rico, St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, Grand Turk and Ireland. The group consist of: Gene Hamman from Edinburg, Virginia lead vocal/sound engineer, & tour manager, Joey Wilson from Warrenton, Virginia tenor vocal/producer & arranger, product manager, Aaron Swain from Forest VA baritone vocalist, KC Armstrong from Winchester, Virginia bass vocals.
