About Blu Note Jazz Band

The Blu Note Jazz Band combines classical tradition with contemporary style. Our goal is to provide the highest quality entertainment along with personal service to your event. We provide professional jazz and classical ensembles for weddings, corporate events and private parties. A variety of formats are available from solo piano, solo guitar to full jazz quintet with vocals. Classical ensembles include duos and trios.

Biography:

The Blu Note Jazz Band combines classical tradition with contemporary style. Comprised of some of the best young jazz artists in Los Angeles, the Blu Note Jazz Band prides itself on delivering true American jazz.
Eric Patterson on sax, Justin Apergis on bass, Nathan Pratt on keys and Vincent Fossett on drums combine to create the signature sound. The collection of musicians have won awards such as the John Coltrane Memorial and have played alongside some of the greats such as Bobby McFerrin, Dave Brubeck, Wayne Shorter and Joe Sample.
