Throw a Paw Patrol Party!

By Megan Price

If you have a little one in your life, no doubt they love the adorable and fearless pups on Paw Patrol! These furry friends are giving the Frozen girls a run for their money. So it’s time to plan a puppy party starring your kiddo’s new favorite pals. Let’s paw-ty with a Paw Patrol party!

Decorations

There are a couple of choices for decorating your party space. First, you can go super-branded and find all kinds of plates, napkins, cups, cupcake liners, etc. with the Paw Patrol characters all over them. These are easy to find at any party store! Or you can go a little more generic, but still cute and festive, by sticking with the main colors of the show. If your little one likes the boy dogs on the show (like Chase or Marshall), you can use primary colors like red, blue, orange, and yellow. For the girl pups (Skye or Everest), you can use light pink, purple, and teal.

Food and Drink

This one is easy! Find plastic dog bowls at your local dollar store and fill them up with easy “kibble” snacks like cheese puffs, Chex mix, or of course, Puppy Chow! (We’re talking about the peanut butter and chocolate treat, for the record.) You can also use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut meats, cheese, watermelon, Rice Krispie treats, or mini-sandwiches into a festive shape! Other easy refreshments are “Dogs in a Blanket,” “Pupcorn,” and “Pup-peroni Pizza”! Cups of blue Jello or Kool-Aid can be “Water Bowl” treats or drinks.

If you’d rather leave it up to the pros, they can make something amazing, too!

Games, Activities, & Party Favors

There are lots of puppy-themed activities to incorporate into your Paw Patrol party! One of our favorites is allowing guests to “adopt” a puppy. You can purchase small stuffed puppies in bulk from suppliers like Oriental Trading and set up an adoption station. Other party favor ideas are bags of “Puppy Chow” (Cocoa Puffs) or a Make Your Own Collar station with beads and jewels.

If you’d rather have someone else do the entertaining, try hiring a Face Painter to turn your guests into their favorite character! Or, hire a Costumed Character to visit the party and really make the day amazing!
