Planning a Peppa Pig Party for Your Little Piglets

By Megan Price

We admit it, there’s nothing more adorable in the cartoon world right now than little Peppa Pig and her friends. And we’d venture to guess that your toddler loves her and her friends just as much! If you’re planning a Peppa Pig party, we have some cute ideas to make it unforgettable.

Simple Decor

Peppa Pig is a simple little cartoon with thick pink lines and bright colors. So there’s no need to go over the top with your decorations or party favors! If you’re on a budget, head to the dollar store and stock up on plain pink and red plates, cups, napkins, and cutlery. Grab a few pink tablecloths and you’re on your way! If it’s too much pink, try incorporating other theme colors like light green, baby blue, and yellow. Add extra charm with balloon flowers like these:

Party favors can be easy and simple too! Get crafty and make little pig snouts out of egg cartons and elastic or piglet headbands for your tiny guests. You could always set up a craft or coloring station to let the kiddos make their own Peppa Pig creations, too!

Inspired Refreshments

There’s nothing better than Peppa the Pig to draw inspiration from when you’re creating your refreshment menu! Peppa loves jumping in muddy puddles, and chocolate pudding makes a perfect replica. You can really use any and everything from the show and Peppa’s adventures! Use blue Kool-Aid for “Duck Pond Water” or just pink lemonade to tie in with the show’s color scheme. Or Dino Juice like the creative idea below!

You can always take the obvious route and do “piggy” snacks like “Pigs in a Blanket” or “Curly Pig Tails”! Add a Peppa Pig twist to Rice Krispy treats with this easy idea:

You can’t have a birthday party without an adorable cake, and this “mud puddle” cake is perfect! It takes a bit of time but is totally worth it. Hint: If you don’t want to make the figures yourself, buy a couple from the toy store!

Playful Activities

A Peppa Pig party needs fun games! This is another place where those handy “muddy puddles” can come into play. Simply cut “mud puddles” out of brown fabric to create a version of musical chairs.

You can also make a simple bean bag toss game using Peppa or George!

To really liven things up, try hiring a Costumed Character for your Peppa Pig party! The kiddos will love having a real-life Peppa or George coming to visit their birthday.
