In it's most basic form, my services involve distracting your children for a couple of hours. Most of the time, they end up chasing me around so that's a bonus for getting them to bed early!
I specialize in improvisation, which really just means I come in with an idea and make everything up as I go. If you're looking for something more structured though, I can accommodate that as well.
I have a few tricks up my webbed sleeve as well. I've fashioned my own webs for fun pictures and interactivity (no messes here, it's all yarn!). I've also crafted myself some removable web cartridges for my utility belt!
I have some training in gymnastics, so I can do some basic moves. Still working on that back flip though!
My name is Kyle Holden (Spider-Kai) and I've been a fan of Spider-Man since before I can remember anything else!
I've also been a fan of dressing up and taking on the persona of characters for most of my life and have always enjoyed the positive reactions from people who appreciate my commitment to character and costume creation. In a way, Halloween is a year long event for me!
Since 2010, I've been dressing-up as many different characters, (also known as “cosplaying”) and attending various conventions in the GTA such as Fan Expo and Anime North. I'm always eager to entertain anyone who enjoys my in “in-character” antics. I've also dressed-up for a few local events in the past, including birthdays and fundraisers (Gutsy Walk) in both the Orillia and Barrie area. I could be found as the Green Goblin for Fanboy's "Welcome to the Mad House" Halloween event, hosted by the Geneva Event Center. Most recently, you may have spotted me marching in the Orillia Santa Claus Parade as Spider-Claus!
My acting and costuming has been mostly a hobby but I'm currently branching out and utilizing my passion and talents as an entertainer and performer for this self-run business. I've spent a short while in acting and improvisation classes and I've acted in two Mariposa Arts Theatre (MAT) Productions: The Glass Menagerie and Wait Until Dark. Both were put on at the Orillia Opera House! I'm hoping to become more involved in Orillia's theatre community and perform in more plays as well.
If you would like any additional information or have any questions, please feel free to contact me through any of the listed contact options here on my page.
I don't require anything but permission to attend.
