Whether through acting, stand-up comedy or Emcee, Sunny has been exploring new ways to connect with an audience since childhood. He's given talks at schools, businesses conferences, and TEDx events on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, and mental health. Calling on ideas rooted in positive psychology and Eastern philosophies, he tells stories that people of all ages and backgrounds can relate to and takeaway applicable life lessons from. Sunny is a Duchossois Scholar who has received full ride scholarship at IIT and he was voted for graduation speaker at Illinois Math and Science Academy. He has won the best speaker award at a national Junior Statesmen of America convention.

I was the first sales intern hired at Packback, which is one of Chicago's
fastest growing startups. I had the responsibility of working closely with
the head of sales to design the on-boarding process for new clients. I was
responsible for writing emails, doing sales calls, and demoing our product.

I worked closely with the project manager of Illinois Tech's Global Leader's
Program. I had a range of responsibilities from creating an educational
video series, to designing our weekly presentation materials, to helping
teach the entire cohort of 90 students and maintaining remote

needs students in Mumbai. It was an opportunity for me to both practice
my mother tongue and give back to the community I was staying in.
IIT Unfiltered, Campus News Show
As the founder and anchor, I led a team of 4 students in creating our
university's first campus news show. I gained proficiency in nearly all
aspects of the project, including script writing, directing, speaking, and
editing. The show is intended to be comedic at times, however the primary
motive was to create a channel for important and relevant information to
better circulate campus. The goal of Episode 1 was to clarify issues
regarding campus security.
I gave a talk titled, What's Your Problem, at the annual TEDxIIT conference
in Chicago. I discussed how teachers and students can employ an
entrepreneurial and problem-based mindset in order to enhance learning

spoke on the topic of luck, and how to maintain a positive and humble

First Place at Chicago Techweek Hackathon
I led a team of Chicago college students in creating a platform for students
at our campus to share meals more easily. We prototyped a mobile app
that students could use to post meals they would like to hold. My role was
in design of the app, and giving our pitch presentation.
First Place at Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Pitch Competition
I won the CEO Chicagoland startup pitch competition by presenting my idea
for Gap House, a residential program for students to spend a gap year living
with like minded peers and interning for tech based startups.
