I'm a burlesque dancer, writer, and producer based in New Orleans. I also do go-go dancing and modeling.
I am the Founder/Artistic Director of The Society of Sin Burlesque & Variety, a troupe that specializes in "nerdlesque," a performance combining our favorite geeky fandoms and the art of the tease, but we do classic burlesque (feather fans, balloon dances, jazzy standards) as well.
Contact me if you're interested in booking me or The Society of Sin for any future events, including but not limited to corporate parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, special events, birthdays, or regular burlesque nights at your venue.
Xena bring a sense of class to the stage. As a performer, she is lithe and graceful and her choreography is flawless. Her recent foray into show writing was exquisite.
Never miss a chance to see this performer.
Response from Xena Zeit-Geist:
Thank you so much, Kriss! :)

An audience member or client can expect anything from classic burlesque (a slow, classy strip tease and dance, usually performed to 1940s jazz standards, starting in a vintage-type cabaret or lounge costume, such as an evening gown with feather boa, etc.) to neo-burlesque/nerdlesque (numbers are often oriented toward comedy or make a political statement and have a more specific theme and may appeal to a very specific fan-base, e.g., Game of Thrones, Batman Villains, Barbie doll, etc.) to full-length burlesque play productions, which feature a narrative with some acting and/or singing, ("Arkham ASSylum: A Batman Burlesque Play," "The Nightmare Before Christmas Burlesque Show") depending on what the client is interested in. I have experience writing and directing shows and am open to writing scripts upon client request. No matter what type of show you're looking for, you can always expect entertainment and professionalism.
ABOUT XENA
I am the Founder and Artistic Director of The Society of Sin Burlesque & Variety, a troupe that specializes in nerdlesque, a performance combining our favorite geeky fandoms and the art of the tease, but we're also trained in the art of classic burlesque (jazzy standards, balloon dances, feather boas).
We're best known for our "live-action fan fiction" shows—burlesque plays that parody our favorite TV shows, comic book series, movies, etc., and that have stripteases interwoven into the plot. Our very first show together, Arkham Ass-ylum: A Batman Burlesque Play, is an example of this, as was our Harry Potter & The Bedchamber of Secrets show, which we performed for Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans in January 2015. I write and produce the majority of The Society of Sin's productions and coordinate our weekly nerdlesque revue, Talk Nerdy To Me, which takes place every Saturday at 7p at The Dragon's Den.
I'm a versatile, fun performer who loves a challenge. Some of my favorite acts include: Batman & Robin (with Cherry Bombshell), Harry Potter, The Queen of Hearts, The Dance of 7 Veils, Charlie Kelly the Rat Basher (It's Always Sunny), Daenerys The Mother of Dragons (Game of Thrones), the Succubus Queen, the Black Cat, and Indiana Jones. I'm always adapting new numbers and creating new costumes.
ABOUT THE SOCIETY OF SIN BURLESQUE & VARIETY
Founded by Xena Zeit-Geist in 2014, The Society of Sin is a group of New Orleans burlesque and variety performers known for creating burlesque shows with a narrative. Our tantalizing strip teases are often part of a larger story, like any play you'd come to the theater to see — except with a lot more nudity. Though the Society of Sin specializes in burlesque plays, we produce variety shows with acts that include sideshow, drag, comedy, singing, dancing, and neo-burlesque, and we also love a good classic burlesque show every now and then.
