Will Erickson's songs are real life struggle infused fine southern sounds for folks who don't live on easy street. Raised in the small town of Lancaster, SC, Will has created a unique niche within the comfy confines of Country Music from actually growing up in a rural area of the United States. He got his voice from his father along with an old beat up guitar and a chord book that was falling apart when he was about to hit High School and spent many days and nights locked in his room falling in love with songwriting. A published poet since second grade, songwriting came natural along with singing. In College at The University of South Carolina, Will would play for friends at parties and eventually got the courage to play at acoustic challenges where he found himself winning most of them. After college the nightmare of a 9-5 job set in until one day he found himself jobless and thinking about what he loved. Music. That was it. He committed to a life of ups and downs with the gifts he was born with and has never been afraid to put it in his music. Checkout his artist pick, Two For One, a song about the struggles of just trying to find your way in a new place when the rug gets yanked out from under you.
Additional Booking Notes
I require a dedicated outlet that's not sharing the same circuit as neons, fridges, or other large appliances that can potentially produce a 60 cycle hum through speakers. It doesn't always happen but it's best to avoid if possible. If the event is outside I need a flat service (not grass please) and covering to block the sun and any potential inclement weather that may pop up. If myself or my duo/band have to fly for your event then please note that you will be in charge of equipment rental as well as food and lodging while we are in your town. Please note the Stage/Setup requirements for what is required for solo/duo/band shows.
I know 300+ songs in addition to the songs I have written. You can browse a very good list of what I know at (link hidden). You can type in my name in the artist search and find my songlist. You can download the app and you and your guests may make requests for songs during your event if you would like. Pretty Cool Right!!
