Testimonials
Abhishek Iyer, Presiden of Indian Student Association from University of Delaware:
"This was the very first time the Indian Graduate Student Association has had the opportunity to host a Stand-Up comedy show on UD campus and hands down, its already everybody's favorite event of the year. Besides being really hilarious, funny and talented individuals, TypeCaste comedy groups is a very chill and accommodating group to work with. They pulled a crowd of about 50 people on a Wednesday night, a week before exams- That is awesome!! I would highly recommend TypeCaste Comedy group for any college or even business related event. They surely know what they are doing and would definitely brighten up your day! We, at, UD will definitely look forward to having you back."
Moshmi Sanagavarapu, President of Indian Student Association from Columbia University:
"We at Indian Students Association at Columbia (ISAC) invited Typecaste standup comedy group to perform at Columbia University campus earlier this month. This type of event was the very first at our university and hence we were quite excited on hosting the same. Ryan, our sole contact from the group, was quite responsive and co-operative since inception. We were made aware of the performers well in advance, which helped us plan our logistics well in time.
We had some good performance on the day by Typecaste group. Ayanna and Tushar had great comic timings and connected very well with the audience. Ryan, Sanj and Richard's sattires about desi Indians stuck in American culture were hilarious. Overall, the performers gauged the mood of the crowd pretty well and tailored their content accordingly. The tempo that built up was very high and everyone present had a great laugh! "
Juhi Madan, President of Indian Student Association at UC San Diego:
"TypeCaste came to perform a couple South Asian stand up comedy sets at UCSD, and we really enjoyed having them. They were very easy to work with and were very responsive! They will hilarious and their content was very relatable to their South Asian audience. Several comedians included an improv portion, in which they made jokes with audience members, and I believe it was done very well and tastefully. Communication and planning with them was very easy, and we would recommend them if anybody is looking for South Asian themed comedy! "
