My son had a great time at his bar mitzvah. Especially because everyone watched as this magnificent showman swallowed swords and had him pull one out! Would you trust a 13 year old with your life? Talk about risky. All eyes were half open. All phones and cameras were out. My favorite part was that Tyler is so genuine and just a perfect gentleman. He made us all feel special and he was the headliner. Thank you Tyler!!
What to Expect
We custom fit each performance to the event, so the more information you give us, the better we know what to pack and prepare for your show.
All performances are expected to be in a climate controlled indoor area unless told otherwise in advance.
Solo Acts - Ambient Entertainment:
Designate a spot for the performer to entertain amd interact with crowds as your guests move through the space. By the entrance, the cocktail bar, or in a common area. Our acts have props and setup and can move once or twice during an event But we do not stroll from table to table. Expect performers to take breaks. Performing 45 minutes of every hour. Please consider that in a stage show a sword swallowed will swallow 7-10 swords and in an ambient setting they can swallow swords 100 times in an hour. Regular breaks ensure performer safety and good morale.
Solo Acts - Stage Performance: These acts are scripted and set to music. Plan to provide a microphone on a stand and an onstage input for iPod music which we can control by remote. Or tell us in advance that we need to provide a sound system. Stage platforms show be 4'x4' or larger. A bigger stage gets you a bigger show. We are happy to share a stage with a band, MC, or contest. Please ensure we have adequate space and access to load in and out prop cases. Excessive cords, cables, and equipment on stage during our performance will limit our ability to deliver the best show possible.
Full Stage Shows - Stage space should be 10' x 16' or larger. We will provide microphones and stands. You provide stage and sound system for us to plug into. 2 microphone
We are a show-business family and have been running Lucky Daredevil Entertainment for over a decade.
Tyler & Jill met on tour Valentine's Day 2006, and got married by Elvis in Vegas on V-Day a year later. The Washington Post scooped our intended elopement by printing our picture and announcing our wedding on the cover of the Weekend section with a thumbnail on the front page of the paper.
Before joining forces, Tyler was a lead performer in the Coney Island Circus Sideshow for many years while also performing with in Times Square at the Palace of Variety Theater with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, and under the big top with the Brothers Grim Sideshow. Producing nightclub shows, Tyler helped revitalize lower Manhattan after the fall of the World Trade Center on 9/11 and became a prominent MC in the early days of the neo-burlesque revival in New York City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Tyler also toured with rock bands and festivals like Ozz-Fest with Ozzy Osbourne, performing at legendary venues like The Greek Theater in LA and Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Twice pictured in Vogue Magazine, seen on several programs on MTV, and countless TV appearances including The Late Show with David Letterman.
Meanwhile, Jill as making a name for herself on and off the stage. Jill designed the first Variety Arts theater in Washington, DC - The Palace of Wonders which featured an oddities museum and prominent variety acts from around the country along with a home for upcoming and local acts. Jill also performed as a snake charmer, burlesque dancer, and occasional Elvis tribute artist.
Together the daredevil duo saw greater success performing for and acting as spokespeople for Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Harley Davidson, Jameson Whiskey, and Perrier sparkling water. We formed our Lucky Daredevil Thrillshow and toured America full time for several years before settling down in the mountains of Harpers Ferry, WV to start a family.
A few years later, the three Fleet boys are now part of the show. Their real stories, real names, and birthdays are almost as unbelievable as their onstage antics. First came Hank Lightning Fleet born on the 4th of July. Followed by Duke Dynamite Fleet, born on Halloween. Finally, Nash Chopper Fleet, born on Earth Day. All the boys are named after Wall of Death motorcycle stunt riders we toured with through the Daredevil show.
The boys perform at select events that happen before their bedtime. Their feature act is a 3 way escape act where all 3 boys are tied up by members of the audience in custom made straight jackets and race to see who can escape first! They also run our security during the show in Police officer costumes and dress up as firemen to keep our fire eating act safe!
Show business is our passion, our life, and our livelihood. We perform and produce shows to put smiles on faces and show people that if you work hard, believe in yourself, set good goals, and practice, you'll find that you, too, can accomplish things that other people would find to be humanly impossible.
