For nearly a decade, owner/operator, Joseph Wells has had the privilege of providing DJ Services throughout the state of North Carolina. Based in the Raleigh and triangle area, Joseph's professionalism, expertise and lively personality contribute greatly to the successful events Top Notch Entertainment and DJ Services presents. Furthermore, his preparation, planning and creativity have led to factors that you'll only only find at Top Notch events. A dancing dog, magic tricks, specific props for themed parties, even voice effects for announcements and/or karaoke are some of the many fun aspects Joseph brings “up his sleeve” for every event to ensure guests and his audience are entertained. More importantly, Joseph's knowledge of music has proven repeatedly to be a leading factor in the success of Top Notch events.
“Often you hear DJ's boasts about their equipment, the size of their music library, etc, but rarely do you hear Dj's mention their knowledge of music; in my opinion, it's not simply about reading the crowd for a disc jockey, that part is expected, it's more so about knowing exactly what songs to play and at what time to get people moving and on the dance floor as well as knowing the artists who play those certain songs”. “I consistently find myself in a situation where a party guests is in front of me requesting a song, but he/or she can't remember the artists, nor title, they only know a line or two of the song, it is our jobs as a DJ to have that knowledge, to be familiar with the song, and be able to satisfy that guests requests”, states Joseph.
One thing is certain, Top Notch Entertainment and DJ Services has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. With a recent Top Notch wedding being featured on TLC's “Say Yes to the Dress”, along with a full calendar and bookings for next year already in the works, Joseph and Top Notch Entertainment and DJ Services plan to continue to serve Raleigh and surrounding areas with the best in entertainment and DJ services for years to come.
