I wanted Josh to just walk around the park at Coburg Golden Years Celebration making his fabulous balloon creations. Well, once he made the very first one, he didn't move for the next 3 hours!! There was a constant line as his balloon creations were wonderful, but he was entertaining as he worked to give those waiting something to watch. I was so impressed! One little boy waited a while and finally got to the front and forgot what it was that he wanted. So he left sad and hoping to come back once he remembered. At the end of the day, after Josh finished with the last person in line (long after the time he was supposed to quit), he was putting everything away. He was heading to his car and the little boy with his family came to him telling him he remembered that he had wanted a dragon! Josh, put his things down and took out his balloons and happily made a wonderful dragon. I was so impressed! He had to be so tired and ready to get home. I look forward to having him back again next year!
I hired Tied In Knots for a Cub Scout Function. I had several bids and decided to go with Tied in Knots for Josh's willingness to work with us and experience that he took the time to tell me about. Experience does matter. I have seen several balloon twisters over the years and was extremely impressed as well as the guests were about how creative Josh was! If you want a balloon twister go with Josh! He didn't do just swords and hats and a flowers like the simple normal stuff- he made whatever the kids could think of which was so impressive and different! They had a blast coming up with funny balloons they wanted -Motorcycles, hotdogs, anything and everything! He came early and stayed until the last kid had a balloon. The line was long and he was full of energy. We had to reschedule the event due to the weather and Josh was VERY accommodating and response to all emails. It was such a great success and I would hire him again in a second!
The kids even the adults LOVED josh! He was on time, professional and friendly. Everyone was impressed and couldn't stop talking about how amazing he was. I will differently be hiring him again in the future
Hired Joshua for a kids birthday party in January 2013. He was professional and prompt from booking all the way through the event. The kids and even us adults enjoyed his talents. He was great with the kids and made great balloon characters . I would recommend Joshua of Tied in Knots and will hire him again.

Influences & Inspiration
Steve Martin is someone who I have really appreciated comidically. Steve got his start as a balloon twister working at Disneyland. He quickly developed his balloon routine for the stage and he was on his way to stardom.
In February of 2012, I had the privilege of being able to perform at a backstage party for Brad Paisley, Scotty McCreery, and The Band Perry. I had a wonderful time twisting up balloons for them all. I Started off with a balloon guitar for Brad and was able to teach him how to make a Balloon Sword. I made a playable Balloon Bass Guitar for Neil Perry, who began playing around with it. Scotty McCreery got a purple and pink Balloon Hat (sorry Scotty, I was put up to it).
