What to Expect
Jeff has 2 primary event offerings, although you can contact him to customize what you want.
1. Formal Mindreading Show: This is a stand-up format show, and it can be anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. It involves approximately 20+ audience participants directly in feats of mind reading and mentalism while ensuring that 100% of your audience is engaged and entertained.
While most magic acts involve colorful props and take up precious space, Jeff brings everything he needs with him in one briefcase. The show is entirely self-contained, using only simple, common items: paper and pencils, cards, drawing pads, envelopes, cash and coins, etc. The simple props magnify the point of the entertainment - your audience is the show - and this always plays HUGE!! The participants' thoughts are on display for all to see, and it's guaranteed to get laughs, gasps, fun, and amazement.
The entire audience receives the same mind-blowing experience, leaving them talking about what they encountered (at *your* event!) for years to come!
In this style show, Jeff can work in a central theme or message, highlight individuals for special recognition, or facilitate giveaways.
2. Walk-around: This is primarily intended for receptions, open-houses, and parties where your partygoers will be sitting or standing either before or after the main event (whether it's a dinner, formal show, etc.). Jeff advances from group to group (groups are usually 4-10 people each, depending on the venue and style of the party), entertaining each faction with various mind-reading and mentalism experiments.
All the props used are contained in Jeff's pockets, and are intended to magnify the experience for your guests. The walkaround entertainment is usually for 1-2 hours, depending on the size of your venue and number of attendees.
Just as no two people are exactly the same, no two groups will get exactly the same show with the walkaround magic, although everyone will get equivalent amounts of mystery entertainment. This is a more intimate style than the formal stand-up show.
Both of my service offerings can be combined for maximum value during more lengthy events.
Jeff has been performing magic for discerning adults for years. His specific magic is called mentalism, or magic of the mind. Mentalism involves sending thoughts between audience participants and the performer, predicting future events before they happen, and teaching the crowd how they can harness their hidden abilities. This form of mystery entertainment will fit in and be well-received by intelligent audiences everywhere!
The Psychic CPA has worked with both small and large companies, private events, open houses, and more! He's comfortable on any size stage, from a gathering of friends at a house party to a large stage for thousands of conference attendees. He loves leaving audiences laughing, amazed, and talking about your event for years after it's over!
Jeff performs a lot of repeat and referral business, because once you experience his magic of the mind, you'll want others to experience it, too!
He dresses and acts with the highest ideals in mind: a clean act, high energy, and lots of audience participation. You can rest easy because Jeff offers a money-back guarantee: if you're not completely satisfied, he will waive his fee - as a psychic, he knows you'll be thrilled with the outcome of your event when you get him involved!
Additional Booking Notes
Even with his amazing abilities, Jeff cannot compete with food (no one can!), so if you plan to serve a meal, it's best if he goes on before the meal or directly after dessert. This is true whether you choose the formal show or walkaround.
For the formal stand-up show, Jeff requires a small table on which to set his briefcase.
Sound amplification may be required depending on the size of the venue.
