The Tiny Event Company is a boutique event planning company, specializing in children’s events and intimate celebrations. We serve individuals and businesses in the greater Austin area, and provide specialty services such as private dinner parties, party attire and launch events. Our mission is to create unforgettable celebrations - whether big or small - customized to your specifications. We truly strive to create celebrations that will stay with you and your guests long after the last candle goes out – not only providing amazing parties but building relationships, shaping conversations and making dreams come true!
We loved our special day! Ivette from The Tiny Event Company was absolutely amazing. When I gave her my budget, I thought she was going to refuse the job (I could see her face!). But she accepted the challenge of doing a small wedding at very short notice on an extremely tight budget. She came up with so many creative ideas to make our day unique to us. We had cupcakes with tiny "I do" tags, but the best was the cake topper - two people on a motorcycle with our initials. We are both motorcyclists, and this is still a topic of conversation, as this wedding topper is on display in our sitting room. She even went shopping with me for my wedding dress. She created a secret board on Pinterest so that we could follow and comment as my husband wasn't in the USA during the planning stages. Ivette took care of every little detail. The only thing I had to worry about was whether it would rain! The Tiny Event Company was a magic find for us.

Ivette Krugel Hawthorne, founder and creative director, is our design visionary. Ivette oversees all aspects of event production and private client relations; realizing the experiences that inspire memories. Born and raised in South Africa, Ivette worked for several years abroad in the fashion industry before moving to New York City. In the Big Apple, Ivette worked in fashion and beauty marketing before moving into fundraising and special event planning.
In 2014, Ivette moved to Austin, TX with her husband and three children. With more than 10 years of event planning experience under her belt, Ivette decided to launch The Tiny Event Company.
Ivette is also an avid art collector, voracious reader and world traveler.

Q. Where do parties take place?
We can host your party in the comfort of your own home - whether it be indoors, your back yard, apartment clubhouse, or at a venue of your choice - recreation center, public park or any private venue that you wish to secure. All of the equipment we bring with us is portable and lightweight. We pride ourselves on our set-up and clean-up. We can also recommend a venue to suit your theme if you're unsure of where to Host your celebration.
Q. How do I book a Party?
A. Contact Tiny Events at tinyeventsatx(link hidden). We can help you schedule the celebration package of your dreams for the perfect date and time. A deposit and signed booking agreement will reserve your party.
Q. What's Your service area?
A. We service the greater Austin metropolitan and surrounding areas as far south as San Marcos, as far north as Cedar Park, as far east as Bastrop and as far west as Dripping Springs. For locations outside of those mentioned, please contact us. Mileage fees may apply for travel outside our region.
Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. We accept checks and major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover.
Q. Why do you require a deposit?
A. A deposit is required to hold your event date and to start customization of your celebration. Fifty percent is required at the time you make your reservation. The remaining balance is due the day before the party. Once our team arrives at your home the magic begins, so we like to complete payment details in advance.
Q. What if I need to reschedule?
A. You can reschedule your party if necessary with no fee. We will do our best to accommodate your new date and time, but we do ask that you contact us as soon as possible so we can secure the date and time of your choice.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If you cancel and do not reschedule with us a 10% administrative fee will be deducted from your return as well as any purchases made towards your event decor, supplies or rentals.
Q. What time should party guests arrive?
A. If you choose to host an activity party, we recommended that your guests arrive 15-20 minutes before the entertainment begins. We don't want anyone to miss any of the fun!
