Clean comedy suitable for corporate audiences. Well, okay, there's a teeny bit of naughtiness. I mean, we're still adults, right? As someone raised in the '50's, my comedy is about the differences between then and now. So much has changed: Some of those changes drive me nuts, some I can't stand and some of them are way better than "then." As "The Silver Senior," I use those differences as the source for my comedy, which appeals both to an older audience (who remember back then) and to college age kids, who're surprised by back then. And they're getting a funny learning experience to boot The kids are also intrigued by a seventy-seven years old geezer like me who can make them laugh.
First 15 minutes funny. Second 15 minutes were a bit confusing. He told me on the phone he would do a set about today's things verses 50 years ago. That didn't happen. My grandkids were there, not a bad show,
maybe not for there age.
We booked a Comedy Night for a neighborhood event with 3 comedians. The Silver Senior was our opening act. Our guests were all adults, but varied in age from late 20's to early 80's. His comedy appealed to all ages and he really got our crowd loosened up and laughing.

My name is John Boni. I am a seventy-seven year old standup comedian known as The Silver Senior. My material is designed to have fun with the generational differences between my own upbringing in the 50's to today's culture. As written above, I work clean with occasional references that can at best be described as "naughty" and acceptable to mixed gender audiences. I can offer fifteen to twenty-five minutes, more if necessary. I can also accept audience questions about my television and film work in Hollywood, Los Angeles and Montreal/Canada. I've worked with Mel Brooks, Norman Lear, Larry Gelbart and have produced and/or written such shows as Three's Company, Facts of Life, 227, The Captain & Tennille Show, Fernwood & America 2Night, General Hospital, All My Children and many other television shows. An almost complete resume can be found at IMDB.

I have approximately twenty-five minutes of standup material. It is clean, with a mild touch of titillation. At age seventy-seven, I draw a lot of my observations about the differences between my 50's to 80's generations and the current one in aspects of parenting, culture, sexuality, gender, feminism then and now, political correctness, relationships, entertainment, marriage, religion, the media and current events.
Traditional comics like Alan King, Shecky Green, Bob Newhart, Cosby. After them we got Richie Pryor, David Steinberg, Billy Crystal and, currently, Paula Poundstone and a number of lesser known but funny people. On a grander scale, all the Sid Ceaser Shows, Mel Brooks (with whom I created a TV series on ABC, Second City TV and Monty Python. Actually, there are too many to list. If someone makes me laugh, I'm on his side, so to speak.
Sound requirement for brief intro and outdo music.
