The Matt Bennett Blues Band is a highly energetic ensemble covering the best of the blues from the Delta to Chicago, playing songs that you didn’t know you knew, with a mix of blues and classic rock, and blues-based pop original music reminiscent of Clapton, Steely Dan, Joe Bonamossa, and John Mayer. The group’s beats bring the crowd to the dance floor, and their enthusiasm keeps it hopping. Each show is a memorable experience!
The band formed out of Matt's love for blues - music and history. Fusing the blues with pop music and singer/songwriter styles, Matt's songs are unique, catchy, and relevant. His poetic and emotional lyrics are a breath of fresh air for your soul.

What to Expect
You can expect a serious group of professionals. We are one of the few bands left who subscribe to the notion that the "show must go on." We work to start on time, take short breaks (if any), and keep the crowd entertained with covers and original music that people love. We have our own sound system, lighting, and gear, so essentially we only need room to play, and somewhere to plug in.
Additional Booking Notes
We provide our own sound unless the venue already has a sound system.
We provide our own lighting also.
