Ah The Lounge Act. Known for their spirited performances, loved for their complete honesty on stage. Comprised of three darling chaps, TLA has an expansive taste in music spanning over many different genres. With a wide variety of musical influences, they make sure to cater their shows to their audience. The Lounge Act argue over changing the band name daily, but their personalities on stage display a deeply rooted bond between the three inseparable soul mates of this band. Martyrs of peace and love, there's a message these guys convey at each of their shows - and that makes them a pleasure to watch, again and again.
Really nice band, awesome sound and presence on stage. They were also really easy to work with and appreciated the other bands that night. I liked working with them a lot and would do it again!
Response from The Lounge Act:
Thanks so much Catherine. It was a pleasure working with you.
I go to a lot of local shows, and I can say without hesitation, that the Lounge Act put on one of my favorites that I've seen. They played their hearts out, and their intense stage presence did nothing to compromise their ability to execute their parts.
As some one who helped book the gig, I can say the band was a pleasure on that front as well. They were ahead of schedule for load in and sound check, and handled the back-end of the show very professionally.
The Lounge Act are a group of great dudes, who play great music, and I'm glad my area had a chance to host them. I can't wait for the next time.
I met Nik and Simon through their other band, the Values. They performed in my basement a couple weeks back and they rule. Literally some of the sweetest lads this side of the ol' U S of A and their music is catchy and will make you feel a multitude of things, including good. If you ever want a dope band to roll through yr town, hit these wonderful people up.
Price Range: $300+
Gig Length: 20 - 80 minutes

We offer a setlist length of your choosing (20-80mins), according to the crowd you're aiming to please. If you need some Dad rock we can kick out the blues. If you have a crowd of rowdy high schoolers we can play the pop punk. If it's the college scene we have a range of songs with hip hop and rnb influences and we incorporate reggae, soul, funk and punk styles into our music as well. We also engage the crowd well and guarantee to lift the energy in the room. If you'd like us to perform covers, we would like a list about 2-3 months in advance.
The Lounge Act first met in high school, where they would spend every lunch period covering their favorite songs in Ms. Hsu's music room. Fast forward 6 years and by the grace of Ms. Hsu, the band has taken their talent to the next level with a strong repertoire of songs and a confident, experienced aura on stage.
