The Lacemakers (Each long time versatile performers)joined forces a couple of years ago. They perform music at weddings, memorial services, parties, festivals, dinner houses, pubs and more. A trio of very talented multi-instrumentalist vocalists who specialize in Scottish, Irish, Appalachian, original mountain music, and bluegrass. Between them they play guitars, fiddle, banjo, drum, penny whistle, and mountain and hammered dulcimer. Members have played from Washington to Georgia including on stage at the Julian Blue grass festival, many a Scotthish Highland Games, and two years running at the L.A. County Irish Fairgrounds St. Patrick's celebration, and also Balboa Park's Ireland Celeb.
Compared often to the Waylin Jennies. Delicate Celtic Balladry, rousing pub songs, humorous songs, gorgeous 3 part harmony,Easy relaxed banter, and a whole lot of fun.

Who are The Lacemakers?
Heloise Love has been fortunate to appear on stage with many of the greats in the Celtic Music genre including, Alex Beaton, Ed Miller, The Wicked Tinkers, Brian Baynes, to name just a few. The group appears locally in Julian, Rancho Bernardo, Solana Beach,Escondido, or at many a Celtic Festival or concert throughout the U.S. released a solo project in 2005,produced and recorded by Randy Sterling,(Aural Illusions) @ Morgan Ranch Studios in Southern California. Vocals described as tender, pure, and ethereal. The members of the Lacemakers love exploration of American music and its Celtic roots and other influences. With her first solo CD aired on Celtic stations across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, Heloise Love has enjoyed hearing back from fans spanning the globe. She has performed all over California, Georgia, Washington, Arizona, and locally, both as a solo artist and with the band she co-founded, Highland Way.
Virginia's own Miss Darla: Long time performer in the duo, Sheela Na gig, very talented Irish Dancer and stage performer, and prolific song writer who has written all of The Lacemaker's original songs. In addition to being a very gifted un-affected vocalist, miss Darla plays guitar, mountain dulcimer, and mandolyn as well as dances when begged by her band mates and fans.
Kim Donaldson: Gifted bluegrass, Old Thyme fiddler and banjo player as well as a great teacher, music arranger, and vocalist. She is an integral member of the Ash Street Ramblers as well as The Lacemakers.
