Food is the universal language that not enough people are speaking. I am an executive chef in San Francisco, and I believe it is my job to teach the value of the food we consume daily. I've worked for over ten years in the food industry, from working at the Rachael Ray Show, to teaching homeless to become line cooks, to food magazines, to children's cooking classes to running restaurants.
I provide a highly interactive cooking demo and inspirational talk-back that makes cooking an accessible and empowering tool for the everyday guy. Plus...tasty samples!!!
Food is my love language. It is how each of us can show love to each other and to ourselves when we learn how to cook healthfully

After having moved from one culinary jewel to the next where she harnessed the importance of executing fundamentals, flavor, sustainability, and community, Chef Eliza Martin decides to come to The Golden State. She was trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, where she also worked for the Racheal Ray Show, Saveur Magazine, and a number of quality restaurants and catering operations. Through the James Beard Foundation's Women In Culinary Leadership program, Eliza expanded her culinary endeavors in Chicago, working in famed restaurants embodying Creole, Indian, and Latin fare.
Moved by the vibrancy of San Fransisco and opportunity to showcase true Italian cuisine around elegant service, she has now joined the family of innkeepers at Zingari Ristorante. Here in San Francisco, she will lead the kitchen team at an iconic Italian house. "Food is the most passionate way I can show my love for others." And with her Italian heritage, Chef Martin has only to say, "Buon appetito!"
