Kimberly's accomplishments began as an Olympic hopeful in the sport of horse show jumping. A car accident in 1998 ended her career--and life as she'd known it. She clawed her way over these obstacles… and back to success.
Kimberly was forced to relearn how to read, write, walk and talk again, endured and overcame years of homelessness, created an entirely new career path and much more.
She developed her Champion-Building strategies in order to successfully re-integrate in a world that no longer accommodated her. These are the same tools she shares with her audiences today in order to build Champions...in business, school, and life.

Becoming a champion in your life--
Kimberly perceptively shares the tools she utilized, first as an Olympic hopeful, then as a recovering accident survivor to overcome adversity, remain positive in the storms of life, in order to become a champion in life.
Kimberly has learned the secret to using adversity in order to create success. Her insightful observations are perceptively demonstrated through a unique, inspirational, and engaging presentation.
Kimberly addresses the advantages of embracing change through reinvention. Not only is reinvention possible, it is absolutely necessary in order to survive in an ever-changing world---and especially so in a struggling, economic state.
Thinking Outside The Box--
Kimberly has learned that life with a brain injury often forces her to utilize alternative pathways to find solutions to everyday issues. Kimberly demonstrates how paving our own way can provide us with innovative opportunities that can be easily missed by "following the crowd," and doing things the way they've always been done. This topic forces audience members to stretch, grow, and challenge current ideologies that may prevent them from moving forward...in business and/or everyday life.
Living with Brain Injury-
Living with brain injury presents challenges that most can't even begin to imagine. Utilizing riveting story-telling, Kimberly transports (and surprises) her audience by demonstrating what life is really like living with brain injury. (Includes awareness/prevention education).
It can happen to anyone, anytime, from any social-economic class. How homelessness changed Kimberly's life, and hope for others who are enduring their own financial struggles.

She shares how alcohol/drugs destroyed three generations of family members and what life was like from a sober point of view. Program’s Closing Comments:
Kimberly Carnevale’s closing comments review and solidify the motivational messages set forth throughout her program. Her insightful observations that can only come from someone who's nearly lost their life and scratched and clawed their way back on top again.
Kimberly is a former professional equestrian who was working towards her little-girl dream of obtaining a spot on the United States Equestrian Team in the illustrious sport of show jumping. A devastating accident in 1998 left her permanently disabled with a traumatic brain injury. She was forced to relearn what most take for granted, such as reading, writing, walking and talking. Sometime later, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Kimberly faced many seemingly insurmountable obstacles since then, and she utilized her athlete training and "Champion-Building" skills to overcome them all.
Through personal stories, incredible K9 partners and insightful observations, she shares how she utilized adversity in order to create success; and shares the tools with her audiences so they can become Champions in school, in their work place…and in life.
Kimberly perceptibly demonstrates how the implementation of these strategies can be applied in any setting, ultimately unveiling the “Champion” that lies within us all. These strategies are derived from both neurolingustic principals and sports psychology techniques proven to enhance self-motivation.
Applying these principals empowers the audience member with the ability to clearly define and focus on personal strengths, set (and attain) short and long term goals, boost self-esteem and eliminate ineffective self-talk and ideologies.
Students will learn how to effectively overcome potential environmental barriers (I.e., peer pressure, negative external comments, difficult home situations), in order to maintain goal-oriented focus and forward progression of personal growth and attainment of short and long term objectives.
Kimberly's name is synonymous for lending insightful assistance to state/county leaders, decision-makers, corporations, and grade school to university students; to become aware of, and be sensitive to, the challenges and barriers which exist for people with hidden disabilities. Being a person with multiple (and largely invisible) disabilities, Kimberly is able to speak both from a business and personal point of view, offering an inside look at what life is like living with life-altering disability challenges.
