FIRST: THE BLEEPING BLEEPS ARE NOT YOUR TYPICAL ROCK BAND. Secondly, we HATE to be called a “classic rock band,” so get that out of your head right this minute. We are all about having fun playing music that makes people get off their rears and dance.
It’s all about a specific energy for us and that means that we’ll put in songs that you may never hear another band play.
We also offer Professional Master of Ceremonies (MC) services, Professional Dance Lighting, a Professional DJ (Weddings or Private Parties) and a full Professional Sound System. We are not your typical band and we make sure that your event is a memorable one for everyone. In a good way. Pinky promise.

Band leader Rick has owned a Professional Wedding DJ business ((link hidden)) since 1987, so he knows how to run an event from the microphone. From the moment you contact us to the booking process to our stage set up to our performance and through to cleaning up after, you will notice that we are professional from start to finish.
We are a fun band. We interact with your audience in a way that is appropriate for your specific event (we can be kid friendly). Our music is upbeat, fun and creates a dance party atmosphere.

Rock? Sure. R&B? Absolutely. Ska? Why not? Country? Ah, nope. Sorry. What kind of tree was that again?
The Bleeping Bleeps are all about dynamics. Dynamics in our set lists, dynamics within our song selections, dynamics within each song itself and dynamics in our sound – the fifth member of our band is our sound engineer. You will never hear a “wall of sound” coming from the stage of a Bleeping Bleeps show. This is a professional band. Get it now?
It’s all about a specific energy for us and that means that we’ll put in songs that you may never hear another band play. We often “Bleepify” songs and make them our own. Heck, we’ll even learn a song or two for your private or corporate event. Just ask.
We don’t just provide live entertainment, we also offer Professional Master of Ceremonies (MC) services, Professional Dance Lighting, a Professional DJ (Weddings or Private Parties), a full Professional Sound System and much more.We are not your typical band and we make sure that your event is a memorable one for everyone. The Bleeping Bleeps are located in the Sierra Foothills Gold Country area (Grass Valley/Nevada City/Auburn) north of Sacramento and very close to Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada. We play all over Northern California (San Jose, San Francisco, etc.) and will travel virtually anywhere for the right price and/or the right audience.
We all have kids (well, most of us...our drummer IS a kid) so yes, we do perform for audiences with children. We simply cut out any song with inappropriate lyrics or we change the lyrics so that we are "kid friendly".
If you want a fun, energetic band for your next private party, wedding, corporate event, county fair, fundraiser or street fair, call us!
OUR BOOKING HOTLINE IS: (phone number hidden)
We are a 4-piece band, so we don't require a HUGE stage, but we will need enough room for a drum kit, bass rig, two guitar amps, several guitar stands and at least 6 feet in front of the drum kit.
One really good thing is that we use an in-ear monitor system, so there is no need to have room for floor monitors.
Ideally, we like to have our sound system somewhere out in front of the stage such as the rear of a room or 20-50 feet out to one side or the other for proper sound control. We are a professional band and we make every attempt to keep the volume at a level where people can be moved by the music, but not blown away and needing earplugs. With a lower volume, we can control the dynamics of each individual instrument and vocal and it makes a HUGE difference in the sound of the room or outdoor venue.
If you are providing sound equipment, we would like to know what kind of set up you have (we could just talk to the sound person) so that we can make sure we bring proper equipment to incorporate our monitoring system (doesn't take much room). We'd also like to speak to the sound person OR we'd like to know if we need to bring our own.
