Overview
The Island Guys are a talented Caribbean Steel Drum Band based out of Detroit Michigan The group performs Caribbean Steel Drum Music for all types of events; Parties, Weddings, Concerts, Clubs, Bar Mitzvahs, Tradeshows, and Festivals.
In addition to performing live steel pan music, this versatile band also performs a wide variety of other music such as jazz, latin, pop, motown, salsa, top/40, hawaiian and Jimmy Buffett. There performance can be live steel drum music with or without vocals depending on client request.

I wanted a steel drum band. Not 1 guy with a steel drum and taped recording. Initially, thats what I thought I was getting. The person I spoke to was the promoter not the performer and I was under the impression that he would be playing and singing. He mostly did background music. I got 1 song with vocals in a 90 minute performance. My guests enjoyed it. But not what I thought I was getting.

There must have been some misunderstanding. When I talked to you about the event and pricing I told you that the price quoted was only for just the solo steel drummer and not the full band. The price was too low for the whole band to perform as a trio thats why I suggested just the 1 steel drummer it was more in your price range!! We had discussed this by phone and text and I had provided you the steel drummers contact info if you had any further questions pertaining to his performance!!
