We are The Barnes Brothers, an acoustic duo just outside of Raleigh. We specialize in classic rock, folk and country songs heavily laden with nice harmonies.
We aren't looking to make a living out of this, we just like playing some great music and making folks happy. Any public or private event we would be happy to play, just drop us a line.

We show up on time and rehearsed with great equipment and even better attitudes. We are not the types to dilly-dally and try to eat up time by talking, we get on stage and go at it. We typically switch around instruments and songs on the fly depending on what seems to be working with the crowd. We always take requests and always let folks come up and sing with us if they know a song.
The Barnes Brothers can play guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and sing. If they aren't out at a gig, chances are they are probably still playing songs somewhere, enjoying a cold one. They each have about 20 years experience in different bands or groups. But, the musical connection between these guys wouldn't let them pursue music apart.
