We are a unique duet act in that we sing mostly 50's and 60's hits- and a few older than that- while accompanying ourselves on both accordion and guitar. While we have played retirement homes, we are open to private parties and the like where people would enjoy this music. Some of the artists are Ricky Nelson, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Sr., and Creedence. Guaranteed a fun time!
We hired the Baby Boomers in September for the first time and what a DELIGHT they are!!
They play ALL the songs that our residents know and love. They truly love performing and it shows. Involving our audience members in a dance was a very nice bonus!
We liked them so much, we’ve had them back already and will again soon. As an extra bonus, they are genuinely NICE people as well and so easy to work with 😊.
I HIGHLY recommend them!

What to Expect
We offer a fun, vibrant presentation of standards ranging from mostly the 50's and 60's where people are welcome to sing and dance along if they wish. It's a little different than some in that we have added a bass and drum backing track to give us a fuller sound.
The Baby Boomers, Ric and Fayth Kirk, are veteran musicians and performers. They both play guitar and piano, and Ric is a very accomplished accordion player, having played in the local Nashville group, Les Kerr and the Bayou Band. They both are also songwriters, and have a theatrical background while in college. They both lived in Los Angeles for some time, where Ric had his own band called the Sidewinders. Fayth is a playwright, having had a musical performed in California.
Before doing their current set of standards, Ric and Fayth were involved in children’s music, having written and performed their own original book and music called “The Three Legged Polka.”
Fayth has a great interest in the dance world, especially the type of swing dance known as West Coast Swing. Ric and she have written a number of original dance type numbers they have performed in the songwriting venues in Nashville. They have written their own dance musical, “The Baby Boomer Boom.”
Fayth is originally from Ontario, Canada, and Ric is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he played at coffeehouses before moving to Los Angeles. They both moved to Nashville in the early 90’s.
Additional Booking Notes
Just a place to plug in and in my case as an accordion player, I sometimes sit and would prefer an armless chair. We would arrive early to set up our PA and do a sound check. That's it.
