I am an expert pianist, with over thirty years performing/gigging experience. I am very adept at playing jazz, blues, classical, pop, and all standards from the American Song Book. Not only do I have tons of live playing experience, but I studied with the late great jazz master, Harry Fields for many years. I was his assistant piano teacher at his studio in Beverly Hills, where I taught many celebrities, and played numerous Hollywood parties. If you need a versatile pianist, whom gets along with everyone, I'm your guy!
I hired Terry for a party recently and he was just fabulous. Brought every one together around the piano and played everything we asked for. He's remarkable and very personable! I would recommend him to anyone. And I will definitely be hiring him again! Thank you, Terry!
Price Range: $200.00 and up
I was raised in a Show Biz family in Hollywood, California. My father was Pat Harrington Jr, the original 'Schneider' from the hit television show, One Day At A Time. He was also pretty adept at 'tickling the ivories'. And I credit him for my piano prowess. I started playing when I was 3. I could hear anything and then play it the exact same way! I studied on scholarship at The Interlochen Arts Academy, California Institution of the Arts, and was assistant teacher to the late great Harry Fields in Los Angels. I recently relocated to Tucson, after taking care of my mother, whom passed last year, and really love living here. Now, I'm heading full steam ahead back into my music career. If you hire me for your event, you will get someone whom can play whatever you want, has a great disposition and sense of humor, plus I have great stories from LaLa Land, if you're so inclined.
