We are a Unique rental company with iteams from lounge seating,

I will agree that this vendor offers unique furnishings, which is exactly why I wanted to use them for our wedding. After paying half of my invoice in January I was contacted in July to be told that my seating choice had been double booked. I was more then cooperative about the situation and changed my seating choice to another option they had to help out, but through out this process the company was very unprofessional with how they handled it. They attempted to charge me more money for less seating then I had originally booked, but luckily I was able to talk them out of that. Then I feel because I wasn't willing to pay more they stated that the original delivery times were no longer going to work because of a policy change that the outside decor could no longer be outside if it rains. Then why would you label these items as an outside option? I realize that if it was pouring it would be my responsibility to move them out of the rain or cover them to prevent damage, but there is no way to plan perfectly for no rain with an outside venue. Then here's the really unfortunate situation. 2 weeks before my wedding I was unfortunately in a horrible car accident. I had to cancel my original wedding plans and reschedule for over a year later because I couldn't walk for months. When we rescheduled our wedding plans we no longer needed the seating that we had originally rented because our outdoor venue wasn't going to work in November so we had to rent an indoor venue. When I called to ask about a refund, this company refused to refund me. They said I could utilize my over $500 credit for anything else in their inventory, but that they wouldn't refund me a penny. I already have wedding decorations and no longer needed their seating options, how am I supposed to use this "credit"? I am planning a small lower budget wedding and due to my awful car accident I already will be paying more then my original budget. I understand that cancellation policies are in place to save a company from last minute changes, but this was not a change that we could have avoided. I would have never chosen a horrible car accident with months of recovery over my original wedding plans. I just can't believe how heartless this company is being and I do not want any other brides to have to go through this experience. Please choose wisely when picking your vendors and if you can avoid this company. They have been very unprofessional throughout the entire process and now they are proving to be very heartless :(
