Amy was very helpful in scheduling and then being forced (because of issues on my end) to re-schedule and re-adjust the plan somewhat. She is extremely friendly and listens well as she prepares to do the event. Her energy doing the event was tremendous. She'd obviously done a good amount of pre-work to prep a special song and elements of the tribute I'd suggested to her. She worked very hard to get everyone involved during the event, whether in the birthday dance or the audience-participation elements or the group singing. She was cheerful and delightful throughout!

This was my first time hiring an improv poet and was not disappointed. I was so surprised at her creativity. She was so full of energy and fun! I was having an event in my antique store for the holidays and Santa's Poet did personalized poetry for each one of my guests. Everyone loved it and remarked how unique and special of an experience it was. I will definitely be hiring her for more celebrations in the future.

While Amy prepared incredibly well and stayed in close contact throughout the process the "poet" aspects did far a bit short of expectations.

Best of all it makes the celebrant feel really special to hear a poem about themselves, about their life, their interests, and their adventures. Highly recommended!
