What to Expect
Sounds Of Santana is a power packed latin Rock N Santana show extravaganza, often performing a Santana Tribute show but more often than not adding the Latin Rock and Soul set, and in some cases venues like us to mix it up. The drum section consist of congas, timbales and traditional drums, some shows the band exits the stage while the drummers perform fantastic drum solos, as you can view this video. All the players were hand picked for the style and attitude that it takes to perform a power show on a professional level. Our vocalist come from San Francisco and Sacramento, our guitarist was selected to give us that latin Rock flavor, our bass can play it all, our keyboard player came all the way from England. Put it in a gumbo and you have the Latin Rock and Santana music that come from Sounds of Santana. More than a tribute band.

The following information is a general guide, equivalent or higher quality equipment would be acceptable. It’s important that we have a wireless mic for the lead singer(s). Performance requires a 2/3 foot clearance on the front of the stage for performers to reach the very front of the stage from one side to the other.
SOS would like to meet with the sound and lighting technician/managers for queuing instructions during load in.
GENERAL SOUND: SOS would like to hear the drums well in the monitors around the stage, sound tech should be familiar with working with percussion, SOS will provide special music to be played on breaks, and the begging and end of show.
