What to Expect
Expect a presentation that connects with your people and a worry-free interaction! I will give you what you need in a timely fashion (Bio, headshot, presentation description, etc.) and tailor my presentation for your audience, by conducting 4-8 informational interviews with attendees a few weeks prior to the event. Audiences are engaged with an interactive presentation and stories that bring home the points.
Diane Windingland speaks for organizations that want their people to have better, more profitable communication. She does this by providing keynotes, workshops and individual and group coaching specifically on interpersonal communication skills (networking, conversation skills, difficult people) and on presentation skills (crafting and delivering powerful presentations with or without PowerPoint).
Diane's professional speaking business is Small Talk Big Results. Her presentation coaching and training business is Virtual Speech Coach.
Corporations hire Diane to help their employees have better, more profitable conversations and presentations.
Associations hire Diane to help their members learn communication skills that build bridges that connect rather than walls that separate.
Nonprofits hire Diane to help their volunteers get clear and confident in sharing their message.
Diane’s programs are fun, interactive and practical. She uses pre-meeting interviews and surveys, lecture, demonstration, role-playing, hands-on exercises and the audience favorites, humor and story-telling, to create a content-rich and rewarding experience for attendees.
A few testimonials:
“All the way through the process of initial engagement, to the end result, Diane far exceeded our expectations. Her easy-going and flexible working style made our planning process simple and uncomplicated. She went above and beyond in researching our organization and tailoring her interactive program to fit our audience perfectly."~Angela Eifert, Career and Leadership Chair, Torch Community
"Diane is a must-have for presentations about networking and leadership. Her passion is evident as she captures you with storytelling, visual demonstration and applied learning as a means to keep her audience engaged and thinking." ~Sonja Simpson, Director of Career Services, Globe University
“Diane presented the 4 E's of Leadership to our group of seasoned leaders, many of whom had 'heard it before'. We had all been through talks about how to manage people, how to get them to do what we want them to, and goal setting. Talk about a challenge! But Diane went beyond the same-old-same-old and spoke to the values behind leading people – the qualities that move your people to the loyalty and action that really good leaders inspire.” ~Mary M. Fischer, CAP-OM, President at City of Lakes Chapter, International Association of Administrative Professionals
Additional Booking Notes
Most of my presentations can be done with or without PowerPoint, but my slides will enhance the presentation (I promise no "Death by PowerPoint"). Good lighting is important, as audiences will want to see my facial expressions as I speak. I recommend that a microphone be available for audiences of about 70 or more people.
laptop (or I can provide my own)
