The bartender was excellent (on time) - but the waitstaff was ~8min late - had no idea what to do and had to be coached and constantly asked to perform tasks while on her phone taking tons of photos (for some reason...?) I was asked if a couple photos could be taken for the event (cause the company likes to post them) I didn't know we hired a smartphone photographer. It was so ridiculous that several of our guests asked (jokingly) if I had hired a photographer. It was clear she was not trained to be a waitstaff at a party and take the stress off the host.
Bartender was great - she performed from start to finish.
It started off a bit rocky. We were supposed to have a Bartender/Server at 5:00pm, as guests were arriving at 5:30pm. I called at 5:03 and left a message on the number provided for the main office. I called again at 5:15 and left another message. At 5:18 Tatianna called and said she was in the neighborhood and apologized because she had just received my phone number. We gave her directions and she finally arrived around 5:25. I gave her instructions for bartending and showed her all of the liquor, wine, and garnishes/mixers. The very first person asked for a Martini and she said that she was only a Bartender in training and that she was told it would just be Beer and Wine. Thankfully, most people wanted wine and others made their own. Tatianna was great at helping me serve and knew exactly what to do as far as clearing plates, cleaning for the next course and putting away the leftovers. Wine service for dinner was a bit awkward. We had wines for each course and the glasses were already on the table - Tatianna didn't know what glasses for which wine but I explained and she did fine. Her wine serving could use a little refinement. She would pick up a wine glass and pour the wine in at an angle like you would a beer and then fill it almost to the brim. 2 glasses were broken during the evening. Not sure how they got broken but Tatianna did show me one and another I found the next day in the recycle bin. All in all, the evening went well. It was worth every penny to have the help - especially with the serving and clean up! I will definitely use the service again for my next party but will be very specific about having a trained bartender.
Wow, these ladies were fantastic. They jumped in right away and never slowed down. Our guests kept commenting on how efficient and courteous they were. I highly recommend using them for any event or party. We will definitely be booking them in the future. Great Job!!
The bartender, Vicky, was perfect! I would use her again in a heartbeat! She came a few minutes early so we had time to express what our expectations were. Tatiana, the waitress was great and very helpful.

I can't say enough about Christina and her exceptional service, the staff she sent (Staphanie and Waien) were very genuine, carrying, clean and extremely hard workers. I would definitely recommend ShortStaf

This was my first time hiring bartenders for an event in my home here in Florida. I was blown away by these two young women. Their level of service was above and beyond. They took charge so I didn’t have to worry about things. They even made coffee and brought a tray around to my guests, did my dishes and then put all the alcohol away. Wow. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!
Olivia arrived right on time and hit the ground preparing her serving area for all the liquor bottles, glasses, and cutting up the lemons and limes. She literally worked non-stop the entire night and had a demanding crowd that wanted more of her creative cocktail inventions. Everyone had a great time which I attribute quite a bit to having Olivia here. At the end of the evening, she washed all the glasses and moved all the liquor bottles back to the dining room so I could easily put them away. She was really awesome!

Threw a mansion party, and long story short, booked ShortStaf and got great service! Highly recommend! My party had 123 guests, and in the morning, I had only a few cups and plates to toss. The bartender was awesome! She was very attentive to my guests and needed No supervision! The food staff was able to make food runs and worked 3 floors to serve all my guests! Above all, this companies courtesy and customer centricity are first with them, not there money. 🙌🏾
We used gigsalad to find servers for our wedding on 09/22/18. The staff from ShortStaf (company) arrived promptly to serve food. We showed them how to portion the food when serving however they still were giving out too much food. Also, after serving, the servers were seen in the kitchen area eating our food and packing it up to go without permission. Then one of the servers (a male) walked up to my mom stating the servers had not been paid for this event. My mom turned to a female server and asked if that was corrrct and she stated, NO, we have been paid. After the wedding was over and my mom shared that with me, I felt some type of way and don't think I would ever use ShortStaf again.

I have talked to several of the servers at the event and was made aware of the one that asked your Mom to get paid. That was his first event working with ShortStaf and we are so sorry for his confusion and any stress that caused. The staff is paid directly through our app, after the event is complete. Regarding the food, our staff left all of the food out, per instructions from your mother, who told everyone to please eat. The venue staff (separate from our staff) was seen eating in the back, and ShortStaf left the building before any boxes were out. So, I believe there may have been some confusion. Either way, we aim to provide a stress free and helpful experience to every one of our users and are very sorry that did not happen this time.
