Seventh Street Jazz is a purely a cappella experience that brings the exciting sounds, textures and colors of instrumental jazz to vocal music. We sing a wide range of music, covering everything from the Andrew's Sisters to current artists.
Seventh Street Jazz is a vocal jazz ensemble comprised of six professional singers. They are a group that's goal is to bring the elements of jazz style to the a cappella music scene and sing not only standards but also pop songs in this jazz style. Formed in December, 2012, Seventh Street Jazz already shows great promise as a professional ensemble-singing for a wide variety of events throughout Orange County and the LA Area. Seventh Street Jazz's signature sound features a rich texture of melodic lines, tight jazz harmonies and electrifying improvisations. A stunning combination of things both old and new.
We have a sound board with cords and microphones, though we are able to do acoustic performances or use a different sound system based on client preferences and venue amenities.
