If you like Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morisette, you'll enjoy my songs. I like to call what I do, "intelligent music for people who think." If you're having an intimate gathering, I can perform a selection of songs, accompanying myself on guitar. If it's a larger gathering, I can bring a percussionist along and if it's a really big affair, I get to pull out my upright bass and the whole band! Whichever one you choose, I guarantee you'll be nodding your head and tapping your feet while listening to my eclectic blend of material. If it's a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.), I can even specifically craft a song for the occasion.

Life is a song worth singing. And there's a lot in my life worth singing about. That's why I write songs. And that's why I sing them. I sing because I have to. It's what keeps me sane. Boyfriend break up? Wrote a song about it. Moved to a new town and lonely? Wrote a song about that, too. I write what I feel and I sing from the heart.
I play guitar, a little keyboard, upright bass and am currently learning to play violin, while I sing my upbeat, happy, broken-hearted love songs. They may be songs about watching too much television or not being happy with who I am, but they're all love songs to me. And they'll make you think. Maybe more than you want to.
To quote one of my own songs, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am the one who looks like everybody else. I lead an ordinary life; I could be anybody's sister or wife. My thoughts are simple, my needs are few, but lately I find there's something missing. I'm working to change my point of view, but more and more, I find myself wishing, how can I be just like you?"
I've traveled far and wide with my guitar, all the way to India and back, through Europe and most of these here United States of America. And I like to think that I left listeners with a little more to think about than before.
I don't like being confined so, although I've received offers from major companies, Sony Publishing and Columbia Records being the most recent to attempt to woo me away from my freedom, I've declined because I like being able to write about what I want to write about when I want to write about it. It's not really art if it's formulated to squeeze into a box. Art is free to be whatever it needs to be. Id love to share my concept of art through music with you.
I'm a prolific writer, so I have a wide assortment of songs. Whatever your occasion calls for, I'm sure I have songs that will fit the bill. I'm also a photographer/videographer. For a nominal additional fee, I can video and/or photograph you and your guests and craft a unique song for you, have you and your guests participate in the song if you wish (i.e. a special "happy birthday" song), commemorating your special occasion.
