Talented and hard working singer/songwriter who focuses in R&B but also writes and can perform in multiple other genres. Known for my natural vocal abilities and stage presence, I am great for anyone needing a powerful vocalist to capture the attention of all audience members. Many say my live performances are mesmerizing and stunning. Along with being a great performer I am also very sociable and approachable. As a naturally outgoing guy, I make sure to not only entertain but also make people laugh and be approachable by my audiences. If you book me for your venue, you will have found a great performer you can book for multiple future events as well as the original event you booked me for.

From the very first not all the way to the last, I provide a vocal performance that is unlike any other. My stage presence is very capturing and my ability to bring in an audience and create an essence in the room that is indescribable is innate. Whether I am singing a slow and smooth ballad or an uptempo urban club style song, your audience will be full engaged and entertained. I can perform anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes and include both cover songs and original songs from my released music. All I need is a basic audio performance equipment setup such as microphone, speakers, and audio performance system and I am good to go. I typically perform to a backing CD with audio and background vocals on it so no need for a live band setup. I currently do not have a band but can easily schedule rehearsal times for a band if you have a house band willing to perform with me. I have performed with a live band before.
As the world of music seems to be transforming, there is still one R&B crooner left who feels the passion behind the music; Sean Forté. Inspired and vicariously mentored by greats like Boyz II Men, Tank, TGT, Ryan Leslie, and many more, Sean’s vocal abilities and lyrical content speak for themselves. Unlike so many singers, songwriters, and urban style recording artists out there today, Sean writes lyrics and constructs melodies that bring you back to the times when music was about beautiful harmonies and commonly shared lyrical content. When you listen to Sean Forté, you will relate to the songs and feel the emotion flowing from the melodies.
Named for his style of vocal performance, this Los Angeles area-born and raised gentleman is seeking to change the face of R&B today by fusing those good old 90’s style sounds with modern production. What makes Sean Forté different? The fact that he is a former U.S. Marine and combat Veteran of the Iraq war. Mr. Forté joined the Marines only five days after graduating high school. He served honorably for four years and performed duties including Anti-Terrorism, Presidential Support Duty in Washington D.C., a tour of combat to Ramadi, Iraq as an infantryman, and a tour to Okinawa, Japan. Sean is not only a talented musician but is also a very proud military Veteran who served our country with pride. Also separating Sean from many other musicians are his incredible innate musical abilities. Singing, songwriting, arrangement, and vocal production are all innate talents Sean was born with. He only has a small amount of formal musical education. His natural ability to learn and pickup information fast has enabled him to put together his own home recording studio where he now records and mixes all his own music. He proudly calls this home studio Take Notes Productions which he one day hopes to be able to transform into a fully functioning business.
Sean’s musical ear is incredible. One thing he is well known for is his quick songwriting turnaround ability. He can instantly come up with a beautiful arrangement upon hearing production for the first time. Give Sean only a matter of minutes in the studio with a new piece of production and he can turn that production into a beautifully arranged song!
Sean Forté‘s latest project is his first EP entitled, “Overdue Conversation”. Set to release in early 2015, this EP will be the culmination of everything Sean has learned. It is being fully funded, recorded, mixed, promoted, marketed, and released by Sean himself and will include his best music to date. Overdue Conversation will be a preview of what is to come on his debut album entitled, “Strong Point ” which will release in late 2015. Exploring new ground, the album will include R&B, pop, and new genres Sean hasn’t explored before. It will also include singles, music videos, Sean’s debut video EPK, and is expected to produce the best performances Sean has ever given both in studio and in live performance. Be sure to keep an eye and an ear out for Sean Forté in the near future.
My performance needs are quite simple. I just need a stage, a microphone, and a basic audio setup such as an interface and speakers. I need somewhere I can play a backing CD or play music from my iphone. Simple as that.
