Santa's Poet Amy

Really fun and interactive experience. The person being celebrated will feel very special. I've had people so happy they were crying because the experience is all about them.

The elves helped me create rhyming holiday poems on the spot.

I started writing poetry and stories when I was bored in school. Other kids would get caught for drawing instead of taking notes, but I never got caught because no teacher I had would look to see what I was writing. At that same time, I loved acting, it was a way to pretend and go on adventures.

Later I learned Improv, which is tons of fun. As I traveled, I guest performed with a bunch of other improv troops, including Quick Wits in Salt Lake City and even BATS in San Francisco.

Then inspired by a typewriter poem outdoors on a mall and by poetry slams, indoors at coffee houses, I decided to try Improv Poetry and it was a great success. So successful that Santa Claus heard about what I do an named me as the North Pole Poet Laureate.

I love bringing joy, laughter and smiles to any event. Interactive poetry is fun and uplifting and a great way to get people joining in. So give me a call and I would love to bring some poetic cheer to whomever you would like to celebrate!
