My performances are specifically planned to enhance whatever event, party or gathering you have planned. Typically , I have a small following of ten to fifteen people who will travel to see me in a public venue. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
I enjoy working the crowd and require only a small 10x10 area to set up.
Rob McMahon – guitarist/vocalist is a lifelong New Jersey resident who has been playing guitar, singing and entertaining the area for over fifteen years. An avid music fan, Rob has been involved with choruses at the Regional and State levels, acting troupes and solo venues . For the past six years, he has been an intricate member of one of the hottest party bands in South Jersey, “ Fonkey Business”, singing leads on classics by Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones, and background vocals on all of the best Funk/Party songs of the past four decades.
Whether performing classic renditions or his own interpretations of popular songs from the 60’s, through today, this unique performer captivates audiences and keeps them coming back for more. Rob chooses a totally diverse selection of songs that are popular for sing-a-longs, background music or easy listening.
The only requirements I have for a typical performance (one that is stationary), are an electrical outlet within 100 feet or the area you want me to play, and a deck or patio with a concrete or wooden floor if playing outside.
For mobile events ( parades, parties , whatever) I do have battery powered
equipment and a headset microphone.
