I can't give a high enough recommendation for Risoluto Strings, who played prior to and during our wedding ceremony. Danielle was in touch with me via email in the months prior to the wedding, promptly providing all of the information I requested and asking me the right questions to make sure that they knew what we wanted. She also arranged two songs that we requested specially for us (for a very reasonable extra fee), and I was overjoyed at how excellent these pieces sounded! At all times, they were professional, and it is evident that the trio are talented musicians. We got tons of compliments from wedding guests about how classy the string trio was for our wedding.
Response from Risoluto Strings:
Hello David and Leah! Thank you for taking the time to leave such kind words! Your wedding was a blast to play; such a great location! Thank you for involving us in your special day, and I'm so happy to hear you two and your guests enjoyed our performance! It was my pleasure, and I wish you two the very best on your new adventure! Congratulations!
Risoluto Strings did an amazing job of creating a beautiful, ceremony by adding music that expressed who we are as a couple. As fellow professional musicians, we had high expectations and some very particular requests. Risoluto Strings fulfilled our preferences right on the nose. Danielle Ryce, one of the string players and the main contact for Risoluto, was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to all communication. They even went above and beyond when they lent us their music stands for the reception! The only thing that they could do better is have a fuller list of their repertoire. Danielle was able to find just about anything that we asked for, but we had to request some songs by name. So, if you do want the "deep cuts" of wedding music, be sure to have particular works in mind. Overall, they gave our ceremony that touch of class and prestige that only a string quartet can add, but did it with the comfort and familiarity that made it fun! Thank you, Danielle and Risoluto Strings!
Response from Risoluto Strings:
Hello John! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words! I'm very glad to hear you enjoyed our performance and that we were able to cultivate a performance that was just right for you and your wife! Thank you for the advice on our repertoire; it is indeed a perpetual project and continually growing! Congratulations and enjoy this exciting new chapter in your life! :)

Choose an ensemble that fits your needs and budget, from solo, duo, trio, or quartet. Our instrumental repertoire ranges from classical to pop, a little something for every occasion, so let's talk about what you have in mind for your event! Make special requests! You'll be communicating with me, Danielle Ryce. I am a graduate of Loyola University, where I studied violin performance. I performed around the New Orleans area in a variety of groups, ranging from classical, to gypsy jazz, to pop and rock.
RATES:
Wedding Ceremonies: $150 per musician
Events: $150 base rate per musician for first hour + $50 per musician for every additional hour. (I.e. a 3-hour event with two musicians would be $500. $150 x 2 for base rate = $300. $100 X 2 for the additional two hours for two musicians.)
Special fees:
- Special requests may require a $25 arranging fee, or the cost of sheet music.
- Please note that we are located in Eugene, Oregon. Anything past 20 miles from our departing address, you will be charged $1.50 per extra mile per car. Please feel free to ask any questions about this fee. I will automatically include it in any quote that requires this particular fee.
Generally, we do not need to amplify our sound. Depending on the size of the venue, our instruments usually produce enough volume. We will provide our own music stands, and when necessary, amplification. All we need is ample space to set up, access to an outlet (when amplified), and seating. However, we can provide our own seating if not available.
