We can play a large variety of Latin American, ballroom dancing music from Strauss to Sinatra, and from modern American Pop and Swing to Jive & Light Rock. Good Dance Music!!
The River Rock Casino Resort had the pleasure of having the Rheinlander Band perform during our recent Oktoberfest themed VIP appreciation event. They were the perfect addition to enhance the experience and make the evening memorable for our valued guests. Thank you!
Peter Paulus and the Rheinlander Band played at Nita Lake Lodge and did a great job animating the crowd. They can adapt the the crowd and play just the right music to get the party going. They played everything from "ein Prosit" over "Anton aus Tirol" to "Que Sera, Sera" - great times!
We booked the Rheinlander for our annual Oktoberfest Party at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler!, Music was great everyone loved it ! See you next year Boys!!
Top notch all around. Everyone had a wonderful time, and my wife and I have to say the band really added that special touch to our Oktoberfest reception. My family is German and we wanted a reception that my Omis could relate to. My mom had so much fun she wants to do it again next year, so expect to hear back from me guys!
Band was very professional. Arrived early, took part in the festivities, and overall seemed a part of the family gathering rather than just a band for hire. Would recommend them personally if needed, and hope to enjoy their services again.
We booked the Rheinlander Band to perform at an Oktoberfest-themed birthday party. They played all night and we were surprised by the diverse music the band could play. We continue to get compliments and inquiries about the band. The live music turned the party into a very lively event. It was a pleasure to deal with the Rheinlanders.
We enjoyed a lively evening of dancing and an entertaining selection of om pah pah music. The band was very professional and had a large variety of songs. Very entertaining.
These gentlemen performed at our Octoberfest VIP event at Starlight casino, and words do not do justice to the fantastic energy they brought to the night! This was thier second visit, and guests who were with us last year remembered their quality and were thrilled to see them back again. Our guests were smiling, clapping, chicken dancing, toasting, and letting out their inner Germans! Friendly, fun, and talented as well! They definitely set the tone and our guests can't wait for the next time! No Octoberfest celebration would be complete without the Rheinlander Band!!
Working with Peter and the band was a pleasure. Very professional and easy to communicate with. They provided everything we needed in regards to traditional entertainment for our Oktoberfest event. Our client and their guests were extremely impressed.
We book the Rheinlander Band annually for our Oktoberfest celebration at La Bocca restaurant.
They are always great entertainment, punctual and professional. Our patrons love them, and they really emphasize our Oktoberfest theme.
We booked the Rheinlander Band for my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was a dinner/dance held at the Italian Cultural Centre. The Band was excellent. They played everything from polkas to waltzes to jive/twist. The crowd ranged in age from 12 to 92, and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this band!
I am an avid Octoberfest music fan and always searching for new German music...then WOW, I discovered a very versatile group known as the " Rheinlander Band ". This band can play any type of music for any situation. Peter Paulus and his team of Gary, Stephen and Terry are as versatile as they are lively. I am not a dancer, but when I hear them
play the Beer Barrel polka, I just have to getup and try. I think everyone's
favourite is the " Schunkeling " song...everyone gets involved. And of course when peter sings the " ein prosit ' ( cheers song ) all rise to their feet and raise their beer mugs. This group is sensational and if you are lucky enough to attend one of their Octoberfest parties, I highly recommend you to do so. This band also plays latin , country, and various types of music. Hire them for your next big event.

What to Expect
As performers and entertainers it is in the band's best interest to play as many venues as possible. It is with this intention that we would like to invite you to consider us as an option perform for your Oktoberfest or Beerfest. As well, we can perform music all year around for any occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, retirement parties, corporate, gulf club tournaments, ballroom dances, and concert reviews.
We are ideal for fundraisers because we are dressed in full Bavarian costume and can build the German food theme into the event ie bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad and more.
We are experienced with more than thirty years of successful performances archived throughout Vancouver and B.C.
We are fun and exciting with our prime mission to bring a little happiness into everyone’s heart. We encourage audience participation with such famous songs as the chicken dance, twist, jager ball, hokey pokey, twist and the beer drinking shunkle songs (arms interlocked and swaying at the tables) with contests and prizes.
Greetings! We are the Rheinlander Band and we hope to see you at your special event!
Our mission is to provide music and entertainment that will start your toes tapping and your feet pulsating with excitement.
We love to play music and entertain people, and leave them with a sense of well being and a feeling of warmth in their souls.
