Inspired from the sweet lullabies of the ebb and flow of the ocean's tides, this acoustic/singer-songwriter band offers lyrical melodies and complimentary harmonies to create a warm welcoming atmosphere.
The duet did a number of requests, and did a bunch of favorites with their own spin. My guests loved them
Response from Red Tide:
We had a blast!!
This duo is amazingly talented and professional. They beautifully learned a bunch of new songs for us. Red Tide followed the ebb and flow of the wedding perfectly. I recommend them to you without any hesitation.
Response from Red Tide:
Sue, you are so wonderful! Thank you for having us be a part of such a beautiful day! We had a lot of fun expanding our repertoire with new tunes! Thank you for being so flexible and patient with us!
We're glad it was all a success!
Red Tide played at my wedding and they were a huge hit! I had them play 6 songs in total. 3 songs as people were being seated, the processional song, and 2 worship songs during the ceremony. They were willing to learn the songs that I had requested and sent me recorded versions before the wedding to get my thoughts on them. Red Tide was great about keeping my vision for what I wanted, while also giving me advice on order and song selection. They were fun and easy to plan with, as well as professional! I had multiple guests ask me about them after the wedding and compliment their performance. I would highly recommend Red Tide to anyone! You'll probably end up becoming friends with Cate and Kelsey after working with them, if you're not already. They're just that great!
Red Tide enthralled the crowd this year with their perfectly pleasant duets at Chicago’s Evolution of Music presented by the Music Industry Society where they won Best Pop Duo in Chicago. They are a multi-demographic pop duo, one who can relate to fellow twenty-somethings, pique the musical interest of tweens and also captivate a middle-age audience. They embody the hottest pop songs of the decade as one of them strums an acoustic guitar and the other leads with mesmerizing vocals. Together their melodic voices are engaging and entertaining proving Red Tide is a surefire for any audience!
My name is Emmitt James. I use to be the events and promotions coordinator at UW- Stevens Basement Brewhaus. Think pool tables, coffee, the most comfortable furniture ever, etc. It's a favorite on campus. At The Brewhaus we like to compliment the cafe-like environment while support student talent. I saw Red Tide play at a few of our monthly open mics and I was immediately hooked by their sound.
Think acoustic meets soul. That's what you get when you book Red Tide to play at your venue. These ladies are genuine and fun. They're laid back and not afraid to communicate with the audience and include them. It feels like a hangout with live music. They do covers and also mix in originals from time to time. I definitely recommend them for your next show.
I have booked Red Tide twice now for performances at the UWSP Basement Brewhaus, the on-campus coffee shop at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. They are my absolute favorite to have in the Brewhaus. They are friendly, have great stage presence, and overall bring a great kind of acoustic-energy that is perfect for the Brewhaus. They are talented in their craft and put a new twist on songs that audiences know and love. I would definitely recommend Red Tide for future performances, especially at restaurants and coffee shops.
