What to Expect
I do makeup artistry as a part-time gig, so I typically travel to my clients to do their makeup for their event, which is a major convenience to the client.
I base my pay on what the MINIMUM cost would be to book an appointment with a Makeup Artist as a Cosmetics counter in a department store or boutique shop (like Ulta or Sephora). Although they advertise consultations to be free, to book an appointment for an event they require a minimum 2 item purchase (at the very least). Even if you bought the cheapest 2 items it would cost you at least $50.
But when you book me, you get convenience and peace of mind for the same price! Here are some things to ponder if you are deciding whether or not to just make an appointment at a makeup counter:
1. When you book an artist to come to you, you know that they will get your makeup done on time, while someone at a Cosmetics counter will be interrupted and have to wait on customers- ESPECIALLY if your event is on a Friday or Saturday!!!
2. In a retail environment, Cosmetics associates either get paid on Commission or by keeping up a certain SPH (Sales per Hour). By booking an artist to come to you, you can by-pass the whole sales-pitch and pressure of purchasing lots of products.
3. I won't ever ask you to open a Store Credit Card!!!

Influences & Inspiration
I am inspired by French cosmetics and beauty looks. The makeup trend this year is "Effortlessly French Chic" which I LOVE! But I am also really inspired by the bold colors of the French Riveria, and like to incorporate those bold, rich looks into some of the makeup looks I do- especially in the summertime.
The look I'm known for: Lips that Sink Ships!
