Violinist Julie Paradies and her husband, trumpet player Jim Paradies are thrilled to share their music with you. Add our cellist and our violist and it's a quartet with a huge, vibrant sound! We are unique in bringing our best wishes to your special event, because we love music and we love each other. Having played at weddings for 25 years, we will set your mind at ease with our professionalism and our large repertoire. Call for a customized playlist with exactly the music you want, whether it's the traditional Pachelbel Canon, or a contemporary song such as Beauty and the Beast.
My experience with Julie from Paradise ensemble was fantastic and extremely easy to coordinate. Julie provides a great quote with with a prompt response. She made song selection very easy and she was very helpful in helping me choose songs based on my vague request and lack of music knowledge. She arrived to my surprise event and played so beautifully and fulfilled and surpassed my expectations. The event went perfectly.
I would highly recommend Julie and will be using her services again!
My request was last minute, however, I must say the service I received couldn’t have been any better. Thanks a million for providing soothing music at the memorial service!!!
Julie was incredible. She is a fantastic violinist with a wide range of music at her fingertips. We would definitely hire her again.
I found the Paradies Ensemble on Gig Salad, and working with them was easy form the start. I was planning a small wedding in Sarasota, FL, from Chicago (where I live). It was very easy to coordinate and communicate with this group. They were early on the day of the event, we walked through everything once and the ensemble took care of the rest! They are professional, the music was great! My only regret was we didn't have larger audience for them!
Julie was very nice and on time. She was professional and responsive to my questions prior to the performance.

What to Expect
The Paradies Ensemble is rare because of the trumpet. Why not go with a different group that will help make your wedding day stand out in everyone's memories.
Jim can play a fanfare on his trumpet to announce the bride's arrival. His incomparable tone delights the ears with jubilance.
Since you as a couple are unique, the wedding music that the Paradies Ensemble will provide will be uniquely yours. Special requests? We are happy to oblige! Nina and Mike wanted all Beatles love songs. John entered to a tune from his favorite video game. And Jennifer surprised her fiance by entering to "Sweet Child O' Mine."
Don't want the trumpet sound on every song? Jim can sit out occasionally, while the trio of strings perform. The strings of the violin, viola and cello resonate in harmony with one another. We strive to match the tempo of our vibrato, to create a unified ambiance of music.
Julie will work directly with you to accommodate your every wish.
Julie Paradies - violin
Jim Paradies - trumpet
We have played together in hundreds of concerts and weddings. We are not a "pick up group" that only gets together for a gig. We all play in orchestras and musical shows, and we teach lessons. We play for work, and our work is playing!
Do you have a special song? We'll be happy to play it at your wedding. Just ask!
Additional Booking Notes
We don't require any amplification. Our music can be heard easily at outdoor events. We bring our own music stands.
