Olmeca is a bilingual Hip-Hop and Latin alternative vocalist and producer. His work has been featured on Democracy Now, CNN Latino, ABC, Fox, NPR, URB Magazine, television series, “Sons of Anarchy,” and a variety of documentaries, including "Ovarian Psycos" on PBS. He has collaborated with Grammy winners including Taboo of Black Eyed Peas, Ozomatli, and shared the stage with KRS-One, Jenni Rivera, Dilated Peoples, Julieta Venegas, among others. He is one of very few artists that can coexist in various genres without compromising artistry or conviction.

Olmeca's work has been featured on TV series “Sons of Anarchy” and currently working on the spin-off show, "The Mayans" created by Kurt Sutter. Early in his career, he performed and wrote for Paramount Picture movie, "Dickie Roberts." His music has been featured on CNN Latino, Democracy Now, ABC,FOX, NPR, and URB Magazine. As a writer as producer, Olmeca's has also been featured on a number of documentaries such as "Two Americans" and PBS Independent Lens documentary, "Ovarian Psycos."
He has collaborated with Grammy winners including Taboo of Black Eyed Peas, Ozomatli, and Universal Records' La Santa Cecilia. He has shared the stage with KRS-One, Jenni Rivera, The late Joe Strummer (The Clash), Hip-hop legend Pete Rock, amongst others.
With migrant parents, Olmeca grew up in L.A. and Mexico, a reality that brewed his music mix of genres and cultural sensitivity. He coexists between hip-hop and latin alternative audiences. Olmeca has toured Canada, Latin America and Europe building a network of supporters as an independent artist. He is credited for supporting a new phase in Latin alternative music in the United
States that mixes hip-hop with Latin American sounds. His unique experiences and work outside of the stage have been an example for motivation and reflection.
Olmeca graduated from CSULA with a degree in Philosophy (Ethics and Politics).
He has worked with migrants, indigenous communities and urban youth. He has been a keynote speaker in universities and conferences throughout the U.S. Canada and London and has presented alongside Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine, civil rights dignitary Dolores Huerta, as well as, author Naomi Klein.
