What to Expect
Noisecoil is about one thing above all - FUN! We like to involve the audience whenever possible. We play a mix of our original music and covers (including some that we have re-made in our own style). We're a loud rock and roll band, but we don't try to make anyone's ears bleed or bring down the walls with volume.
With a style best described as retro modern rock, Noisecoil is a hard hitting band straight out of south Louisiana. Early influences including Metallica, The Cult, Queensryche and other Metal from the 80s are finely balanced with newer music such as Tool, Seether, Alice In Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots.
Comprised of four very distinct personalities, Noisecoil came together through a series of experiences with other bands. And despite their very different musical backgrounds, this quartet has become not only close friends, but a tightly knit musical team – a fact reflected in their dynamic songwriting. The band's recently released first CD, aptly titled “Three” is an arrangement of simple yet catchy hard rock tunes.
They are now working on the followup release, "ReCoil". Essentially, after a change behind the drums, and the addition of a second guitarist, it was decided that the previoucs material would benefit from a make-over with the new energy brought to the songs. There will also be addition tracks that have been writtnen since the release of "Three" . Taking a cue from bands such as the Cure and A Perfect Circle, the band is eagerly experimenting with new sounds while simultaneously adhering to its original mission: to captivate it’s audience with and intense drive and raw simplicity.
