These guys are great. Very easy to work with & everyone really enjoyed their music. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Cajun or Zydeco band.
Nathan and Steady Steppen’ was AWESOME! We hold our market once a month and never have had people get up and dance. Nathan and his crew sounded amazing, where super easy to work with, and I would HIGHLY recommend them for your next event. We can’t wait to have him back in the fall!
Response from Nathan & Steady Steppen':
By far one of the best venues we've ever played and the hospitality was like none other. Mr. Dawson and crew made sure we were very well taken care of even put us under a tent to keep out of the hot Louisiana heat. We are looking forward to doing the fall here again!!

Nathan, a phenomenal talent who has been capturing the attention of other musician and music lover before he even thought about picking up an accordion. His creole roots started in a small town called Grand Coteau, in southwest Louisiana. His father’s love for the creole culture somehow spread to him. His father would take him to zydeco legendary places like Slims Y Kiki, and Richards club, and while he went in to have a good time Nathan would just sit on the hood of the car listening to zydeco legends like Boozoo Chavis, Zydeco Force and Nathan and The Zydeco Cha Chas, just to name a few. As “being country” started to become uncool, Nathan followed suit with the rest of the crowd and took a liking to rap and started rapping with close friend in a rap group called The Durio Family. After dropping many mix tapes and an album he decided to leave his rap career behind, and follow his father’s dreams and started playing accordion in 2005. With the help of zydeco artist Josh Arcenaux and Wayne Singleton he was able to kick start his career as a Zydeco Artist. His primary genres are traditional Zydeco and Cajun music with a twist of today’s syle of traditional noveau Cajun and Zydeco music. Nathan’s played behind many great bands such as Wayne and Same Ol’2 Step, Leon Chavis and the Zydedco Flames, Josh and The Zydeco Souljas, just to name a few. In 2014 he finally decided to start his very own band; Tyke and Steady Steppin, with some of his closest friends. He’s currently working on his first CD and is looking forward to a very prosperous career in what is not only a genre of music but a way for life for many people down in Southwest Louisiana.
I come with my own sound system so you won't need to supply the band with anything accept for drinks.
