Hi, I'm Nata (Renata) of Nataworry Photography, a headshot and event photographer based in Seattle, WA. Years of photographing events for private and commercial clients, including a local Seattle magazine, has taught me where to be, when to be there, and what's important to clients. I've been a people person since I was a kid, so it's no surprise I love engaging event attendees while creating/art directing photos that reflect the mood of an event. I'm also adept at documenting candid moments that both flatter the subjects and make event details shine. It would be my pleasure to chat with you about why I should be trusted to capture your event. Cheers!
Working with Nataworry Photography was extremely easy and the results were precisely what I was after. I booked last minute and had a few reservations but Nata quickly put me at ease. She was extremely communicative and made sure that I received exactly the images I was after. I would 100% recommend her to anyone seeking a talented photographer in the area.
Response from Nataworry Photography:

What to Expect
Punctuality is of great importance to me. I typically arrive at an event 20-30 minutes before I'm scheduled to check in with my client/event contact. Sometimes I'm up to an hour early if I've never been to the venue and am unsure of parking, where to go, etc.
If a shot list has been provided to me beforehand I'll have read it over before arriving. Plus, I will have a printed copy of the list with me and ready to ask any questions I may have before I create a single photo. I'm comfortable working with and without shot lists. I shoot purposefully and deliver a clean edit of photos such that my clients aren't burdened with looking through photos poorly exposed, people with eyes closed, etc.
In terms of wardrobe, I dress similarly to the dress code communicated to event guests so as to fit in as best I can. Throughout the event I try to connect with my on-site contact to let them know how things are going, and I also do my best to find them when I'm about to leave to make sure I'm not needed beyond the originally contracted length of time.
Lastly, I make a concerted effort to always have a friendly expression on my face so as to reflect positively on the event organizers and/or the organization hosting the event.
On a typical day, I photograph events and create headshots and portraits for private and commercial clients in and around Seattle. About 10-15 times a year I volunteer at local Seattle radio station (link hidden) where I meet and photograph world renowned musicians and I'm known for creating compelling portraits on average in 5 minutes or less. After graduating college I worked in corporate America for many years before taking the leap into the photography world. As a result, my experience as a professional Project Manager helps me to communicate efficiently and effectively with my clients and I'm very detailed oriented when it comes to planning a portrait or event shoot. Most importantly, clients trust me to get the job done and react positively to my down to earth, fun personality which I attribute to growing up in the Midwest.
Additional Booking Notes
I use professional grade equipment and have back-ups in case of equipment failure. If I'm expected to provide off-camera lighting, whether it requires access to a power source or not, a request is required 48 hours prior to the event.
