Mrs. Begley & The Boys play a wide variety of rock n' roll songs from the 1960s to today. Powerful four-part harmonies; tight dance rhythms, wailin' guitar leads, and sweet keyboard fills make this band a crowd pleaser. Their songs will “tickle your fancy” i.e.: make you smile, clap, shout, and dance. They tour with a fantastic sound system, classy stage rigging, and party-on light show.
Great Experience! Band was phenomenal!
Very talented. Great communication prior and during event. Professionals
This group has an AWESOME, unique vibe. We hired Mrs Begley and The Boys to play an outdoor event. They were in the middle of setting up when the rain and wind rolled in. Together, we made the decision to move the event inside. Not once did they complain, they were so easy to work with and adapted to the situation with grace. To boot, Mrs. Begley promoted our event and upcoming events.
Everyone had a great time, commented on how amazing this band is and admired their musical talent! Great choice! We will be calling on them again in the future!
Response from Mrs. Begley & The Boys:
We throughly enjoyed working with everyone at The Maze on 23rd. They set up a great event, and when the rain came down, they helped keep our equipment dry and found an alternate location. In no time at all, the people arrived, and the party came to life. It was a great evening.
Price Range: $1,000 and up
What to Expect
A highly professional group of musicians who love what they do. They are friendly and reliable. They provide four hours of fun music with two short breaks.
This is a well-established, four-piece band based out of Vermillion, SD. Kevin Patten (Drums) has been playing since he was in high school during a very cool decade in rock music; he's played in numerous bands, and digs the versatility of his e-drums. Zach Holoch (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard) is the do-it-all guy. His dynamite voice blasts screamin’ rock n’ roll as well as tender ballads. He can play anything with strings, keys, buttons, or bailing twine, and is the human version of the electronic pitch corrector/harmonizer. His musical adventures include touring and recording with several bands from the Midwest to the East Coast. Brian Begley (guitar/vocals) gave up trying to be cool when his guitar became unplugged while playing "Stairway to Heaven" to a girl on the dance floor in 1979. Since then, he has focused on mastering lead guitar, running sound, playing slide, and tinkering with lights. Mary Begley (bass guitar/vocals), unaware of Brian’s previous "Stairway to Heaven" past, married him and joined his band. She has a weakness for funk, red wine, and chocolate; plays the bass like a mofo, and can sing a mean Janis Joplin.
