Mountain Shore is an acoustic singer/songwriter duo based in Fayetteville, AR. We play a diverse collection of original and cover songs, ranging in style from funk to bluegrass to reggae. Our sound is defined by intricately percussive guitar and complex vocal harmonies. We have dueling male and female vocals, similar to the Civil Wars or the Swell Season. Mountain Shore is available for tours; we have played all over the state of Arkansas and performed multiple tours of Florida, Alabama, and New York.

Mountain Shore is an acoustic music duo born in the nation's Oldest City, St. Augustine, FL. This singer/songwriter act is comprised of native Floridians Stephen Kent Pigman and Chelsye P. Ginn.
Pigman grew up immersed in the Jacksonville music scene and began playing music professionally at age 16. A versatile musician, Pigman has served as a frontman, bassist, and songwriter; he has experienced success playing in bands such as Feral Swine Experiment, Amy Hendrickson & the Prime Directive, Sasparilla, and the Tony Smotherman Project. In Northeast Florida, Pigman has performed at the Florida Theatre, Metropolitan Park, Freebird Live, Jack Rabbit's, and at the Jacksonville Landing. He has opened for artists such as Rusted Root, the Wallflowers, and Leon Russell. He also has appeared on CW17's "Your Jax Music".
Chelsye Ginn is a classically trained singer with a background in musical theatre. Over the past three years, she has performed celtic and folk music with Dirty James and the Rusty Anchors at festivals, pubs, and special events down the coast from Jacksonville to Daytona. Highlights include the St. Augustine Sea Food Festival, She also is an original cast member of the Black Raven Pirate Ship and served as a tour guide at Pat Croce's St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure museum. Her pirate persona Magpie Maggie became a local icon in the Oldest City.
Both Ginn and Pigman are former tour guides of St. Augustine and they each hold degrees in theatre; Ginn attended Florida State University and Pigman attended Flagler College. In Northeast Florida, they have worked with Players by the Sea, the Limelight Theatre, Flagler Playhouse, A Classic Theatre, Horton Actors Studio, and Daytona Beach State College. In May of 2013, Pigman and Ginn moved to Northwest Arkansas to be closer to Pigman's daughter who relocated with her mother. The name Mountain Shore is derived from the duo's love of the Ozark Mountains and the beautiful beaches of Saint Augustine. They are very active in the thriving theatre, arts and music scene in Fayetteville, Arkansas, home of the University of Arkansas. Mountain Shore is known for complex vocal harmonies and intricately percussive guitar.
Because we are a two-piece act, we do not require much space to set up. Generally, our set up includes to mics, a cable for a guitar, and cable for a ukulele.
We have our own PA and equipment, which we are happy to bring to gigs for a nominal fee.
We are nothing if not versatile. Our sets include music by Bob Marley, Natalie Merchant, Counting Crows, Dolly Parton, John Denver, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Iron and Wine, Bright Eyes, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Rusted Root, Radiohead, Guy Clark, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sly and the Family Stone, and more.
